  • Clubs Queensland Supports Share the Dignity This Christmas This festive season, the Clubs Queensland team proudly supported Share the Dignity's "It's in the Bag" campaign, which provides essential items for women and children escaping domestic violence or facing homelessness. Together, we donated generously on behalf of CQ and added extra bags from personal staff contributions. It was a heartwarming experience to drop off the bags and see the impact of our collective effort. Pictured: Dan Nipperess and Jasmin Evans (Van Gorp) delivering bags to Share the Dignity HQ

  • Thank you to everyone who attended the 2024 CQ Workplace Relations Conference. Your participation made the event a great success. A special thank you to our sponsors for their support, including major sponsor AustralianSuper, and supporting sponsors TAB, Mullins, and Tanda. Your contributions made this event possible. The conference featured insightful and engaging presentations: * Lachie Smart captivated us with his inspiring storytelling, exploring leadership with the millennial generation, and spoke about values, resilience, and empathy. A key takeaway: everyone’s perspective is shaped by their unique lived experiences—an important reminder for all leaders. *Jodi Brown from LIVIN shared his powerful journey with mental health, emphasising the importance of self-care and the necessity of checking in with yourself before helping others. * Tahnee McWhirter and Hazel from HumanX HR discussed Employee Value Propositions (EVPs) and shed light on the potential (and pitfalls) of AI in HR practices. We hope you left the conference feeling inspired and equipped with new ideas to bring back to your clubs.
