This weekend, we unveiled a permanent tribute to award-winning Australian music legends Uncle Archie Roach AC AM and Aunty Ruby Hunter at Atherton Gardens in Fitzroy. 🖤💛❤️ Uncle Archie and Aunty Ruby were revered musicians and truth-tellers, and as Stolen Generation survivors, shared their experiences through captivating music and powerful songwriting. We’re honoured to have worked with Uncle Archie and Aunty Ruby’s family, the Wurundjeri Woi-wurrung Cultural Heritage Aboriginal Corporation and Archie Roach Foundation on this new public artwork - created by local artist Darien Pullen, Melbourne-based architect Jefa Greenaway (Wailwan/Kamilaroi) and acclaimed landscape architect Paul Herzich (Kaurna/Ngarrindjeri).
