2024 was a massive year for us- we pushed boundaries and reimagined what’s possible in accessibility. With 6 million square meters mapped (a 30% increase!) and a 285% rise in users, we’re paving the way for independence and inclusion like never before. Some highlights from 2024: ✅ Our latest cost-effective innovative technology launched with Australia Post – no beacons, no wires, just precision. ✅ Making waves at events like the Australian Open, SXSW Sydney, AbilityFest and many more! ✅ BindiWeb Goes Outdoors – GPS localisation, multi-mode routing, and 200+ languages supported. ✅ Recognised as a Gold Standard for Accessible Buildings by Guide Dogs Australia. …And so much more! Dive into our full wrap-up here: https://lnkd.in/gb7q9YQb Every step forward, every milestone, is powered by you-our users, partners, and community. Your stories of empowerment inspire us daily and remind us why we’re here. 💙 As we step into 2025, our mission remains the same: to make accessibility the norm, not the exception. Here’s to breaking more barriers together! #YearInReview #Innovation #Inclusion #AccessibilityForAll [VD: A 1:20 second video with the following script: 2024- a year of milestones, breakthroughs, and a relentless drive to change lives.  With over 6 million square meters mapped, we’re creating  pathways to independence, connection, and freedom, one step at a time.  This year, we made our mark in the retail world, partnering with the Australia Post to debut our groundbreaking Hyperlocal technology. We’re constantly pushing the limits of innovation, like with BindiWeb- our web-based navigation system, now enhanced with GPS and outdoor routing to guide you wherever you go.  Accessibility isn’t just a feature; it’s our mission. This year, we brought our mission to life at major events like the Australian Open, AbilityFest, SXSW, and beyond, ensuring no one was left behind. We’re honored to be recognised by Guide Dogs as a Gold Standard for accessible buildings and proud to be part of Bupa’s #ecoDisruptive 2024 program – both acknowledgments of the incredible impact we’re making. But none of this would be possible without our users. their stories fuel our drive and remind us of the difference we’re making every day. User Testimonials displayed on screen: “I couldn’t have done it by myself. [BindiMaps App] helped me independently travel around.” - BindiMaps User “Being an introverted person and if I am feeling over-sensored, sometimes I don’t like asking for directions. I could use my phone and that’s where I would use BindiMaps” - BindiMaps App User “This place is huge! I would have easily gotten lost without BindiMaps”. - BindiMaps Kiosk User The script continues: We’ve come so far, but the journey is far from over. More innovation, more partnerships, and a future where accessibility is the standard. Here’s to continuing to break down barriers in 2025 and beyond!]

Riddhi Phadke from our People team has always been curious about how people move through different spaces and more broadly how the world works around her. It was this sense of curiosity which led her to sign up for this year’s #ecoDisruptive program and seek out a solution that will help people with disabilities move more safely and seamlessly through Bupa properties.   Through this journey her team is working with Aussie start-up BindiMaps where the opportunities seem endless. Rhiddhi said “We know that navigating complex and unfamiliar environments can be challenging and can add to anxiety, so we saw the opportunity through BindiMaps to support our customers and our people every step of the way in our facilities.”   Read about her #ecoDisruptive journey here: https://lnkd.in/g8N-54Zp
