Royal Randwick’s annual Boxing Day meeting is poised to break a record for the festive season this year at Sydney’s world-famous racecourse. Following a successful Spring Carnival, including a sold-out TAB Everest Day in October, more than half of all General Admission tickets—priced at just $10—have already been sold. With music, vibrant Irish vibes, and Guinness served in the Winx Stand and Officials Stand, Boxing Day promises to be an electric celebration. Created in partnership with The Mercantile Hotel, for the first time at Royal Randwick, the Irish-inspired destination, will be serving classic pub fares such as spice bags, curry sauce and chips, and chicken fillet rolls, complemented by a perfect glass of Guinness. The Australian Turf Club had the privilege of hosting the Annual Sports Review in the iconic Winx Stand at Royal Randwick recently. With 2024’s most memorable sporting moments taking centre stage, this sixth edition was nothing short of spectacular. Tony Squires brought his signature wit as MC, while an all-star panel—featuring Noemie Fox, Michael Hooper, Melinda Gainsford-Taylor, Jude Bolton, Bradley Clyde, Allie Smith, and Bjorn Baker—delivered insights, laughter, and inspiring stories. Guests enjoyed a mouthwatering two-course lunch paired with premium beverages, surrounded by the vibrant energy of Sydney’s most exciting venue. It was an afternoon to celebrate, reflect, and toast to the year in sport with clients, colleagues, and friends. If you missed it, check out the highlights in the video. The Winx Stand proved once again why it’s the ultimate destination for world-class events. Here’s to more unforgettable moments at the ATC in 2025.
