The last Sport’s Cutting Edge episode of the year is out! On this episode we celebrate Aussie sportstech’s global prowess and the might of Iggy Jovanovic, founder of Gerford AI, and his team. The greatest sports team of all time is the US Olympic Team, and Team USA has been epically dominant in the pool. In the land of NASA, the Pentagon, and an America-first mentality, one of the biggest revelations of the Paris Olympics was that Team USA would hire an Australian business to run the sports performance tech in the pool. Part of being export-ready requires an understanding of the customer, the business model and market. Working with the University of Washington Consulting Association in Seattle (Washington), has delivered valuable market insights to a several ASTN members over the past year. A big shoutout to Preyal Garg and Mason Ciolli for their leap of faith in connecting students and founders across continents. The collaboration between University of Washington and ASTN - Australian Sports Technologies Network has its serendipitous origin through a connection with Professor Tod Bergstrom at the UW Foster School of Business. We are looking forward to further engagements in 2025 as we completed this year https://lnkd.in/g6P-G9tk #collaboration #sportstech #marketresearch #serendipity
