Tonight, we celebrate the Prime Minister’s National Veteran Employment Awards and recognise the significant contributions of organisations committed to the employment of veterans and their partners. This event also highlights the extraordinary achievements of individual veterans and partners making meaningful impacts in their chosen fields.

In just under one week, the Prime Minister’s National Veteran Employment Awards will celebrate the vital contributions of organisations committed to enhancing the employment landscape for veterans and veteran partners. Six universities will receive funding to make it easier for veterans to complete higher education as part of their transition into civilian life. During military service, veterans gain skills, abilities and experiences that are highly transferrable to education and other career opportunities. The Veteran Recognition of Prior Learning – Tertiary Support (RPL) Grant Program offers funding for universities to either start or expand on pathways that recognise these valuable skills.
