Ansett Aviation Training is located 5 kilometres from the Tullamarine International Airport in Melbourne, Australia. The aviation training facility is the largest in the southern hemisphere, currently housing 11 Full Flight Simulators with associated briefing rooms and an A320 Cabin Emergency Evacuation Trainer. The facility boasts numerous classrooms, computer-based training rooms, administration offices, and extra amenities including an instructor's room, communal cafeteria and lounge areas. Recent expansions to the buildings include new state-of-the-art facility upgrades specifically designed to meet the increasing training needs of International and Australian airlines. Combined with a training history and experience of three decades, Ansett Aviation Training offers the highest quality training to customers around the globe.

  • Ansett Aviation Training Celebrates the First Class of Air New Zealand Cadets Within the Mangōpare Pilot Cadetship Global pilot training group Ansett Aviation Training celebrates the first class of cadets from the Mangōpare Air New Zealand Pilot Cadetship starting their flight training. Air New Zealand selected Ansett Aviation Training as a cadetship pilot training partner earlier this year, supporting the airline in assessing, selecting and training aspiring pilots to be ready for the cockpit of the airline’s ATR 72-600 fleet. Ansett Aviation Training, together with AeroGuard Flight Training Center, is providing Air New Zealand with an end-to-end solution for the Mangōpare Air New Zealand Pilot Cadetship program supporting the aspiring pilot recruitment phase, overseeing the ab-initio flight training phase and conducting advanced simulator type rating training to ensure that the cadets receive an industry-leading safe, high quality and short duration training program that prepares them for airline operations.   • Global Operator of Pilot Training Centre’s Ansett Aviation Training Providing African Operator’s with ATR72-600 and A320ceo/neo Full Flight Simulator Training Infrastructure. Australia headquartered global operator of pilot simulator training centres since the mid 1980s, Ansett Aviation Training (AAT), has announced that in line with Aviation Africa 2024 taking place this week that its training centres in Dubai, United Arab Emirates and Milan, Italy can support African operators with Airbus A320, ATR600 or Boeing B737NG training infrastructure. Ansett Aviation Training is currently installing a brand new Airbus A320 ceo/neo full flight simulator into its Dubai, United Arab Emirates training centre. The device is being installed next to the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) certified ATR72-600 full flight simulator. Ansett Aviation Training launched the new Middle East training centre at the end of 2023 to further expand its global training centre footprint which already includes pilot training centres in Australia, Italy and Taiwan. The strategic location of the Dubai training centre, located a few minutes’ drive from Al Maktoum International Airport, provides airlines with training infrastructure that is easily accessible from all parts of the globe and the ability to utilise Ansett Aviation Training for dry or wet training services.

    Global Operator of Pilot Training Center’s Ansett Aviation Training to Provide Airbus with Access to A320 Training Infrastructure Australia headquartered global operator of pilot simulator training centres since the mid 1980s, Ansett Aviation Training (AAT), has announced that it has signed an agreement with Airbus Africa and Middle East FZE to support Airbus with its pilot training activities through access to Ansett Aviation Training’s brand-new Airbus A320 full flight simulator being installed in its Dubai, United Arab Emirates training centre. Ansett Aviation Training launched the new Middle East training centre at the end of 2023 to further expand its global training centre footprint which already includes pilot training centres in Australia, Italy and Taiwan. The strategic location of the Dubai training centre, located a few minutes’ drive from Al Maktoum International Airport, provides Airbus and airlines with training infrastructure that is easily accessible from all parts of the globe and already operates a European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) certified ATR72-600 full flight simulator.
