Tough competition in the home lending market and the high cost of Google AdWords, means that mortgage brokers need to actively leverage their existing databases, says Paul Andrew Smith, general manager mortgage channel of broker marketing platform ActivePipe. Smith said the most cost-effective way for brokers to win new deals was most likely going to be leveraging their existing client database, as they had already won the acquisition battle.
