What are your thoughts on the new data standards for aged care clinical information systems?
This is an important first step in ensuring the digital transformation of aged care in Australia. The CIS will be the basis of a data-focused culture that utilises the data to improve the quality, safety and effectiveness of care delivered whilst ensuring transparency and accountability. However, it is only the first step and we need to build upon it to provide older Australians the quality care they deserve, in a way they can afford.
