At the Innovation and Technology Across Care (ITAC) 2024 National Conference, Aged & Community Care Providers Association (ACCPA) Chief Executive Officer Tom Symondson revealed the next chapter for innovation and technology in aged care.   The activities of the Aged Care Industry Information Technology Council (ACIITC) will be transitioned to ACCPA. Established with the mission to advance the aged and community care industry through innovation and technology, ACIITC has been instrumental in driving positive change and fostering partnerships across the sector. Throughout our journey, ACIITC has catalysed innovation, creating opportunities, resources, and research initiatives that have enriched the aged and community care landscape. We are immensely proud of the impact we have made in improving outcomes for older people and their families. We assure you that all projects have been responsibly concluded, and the knowledge and resources developed by ACIITC will remain accessible to the aged care industry through the ACCPA InnovAGEING program. As we close this chapter, we want to express our gratitude to all who have contributed to ACIITC’s endeavours. Your passion and dedication have been instrumental in our success.
