2024: The year we became a Certified B Corp! ❤️🎉 This year the Pedal Group achieved B Corp Certification - a milestone that reflects our ongoing commitment to making a positive impact on our planet, our people and our community. Becoming a B Corp is no small feat and it took over 2.5 years to complete! It requires meeting the highest standards of social and environmental performance, accountability and transparency. Here's what this journey has meant for us: ✅ Our People: We’re committed to creating a workplace where our team members feel valued, supported and part of something bigger than them. We nurture, trust and invest in our people and we include everyone. ✅ Our Customers: We are driven by consistently listening, understanding and improving on the customer’s perspective. By encouraging more people to embrace cycling, we’re helping to reduce reliance on cars and promote healthier lifestyles. ✅ Environmental Responsibility: We’ve implemented sustainable practices across our operations, including reducing waste and water usage, upcycling bikes that would otherwise end up in landfill, and encouraging our people to ride to work through our Ride to Work incentive scheme. ✅ Community Impact: Where we live and work remains at the heart of what we do. We’re supporting local initiatives and giving back to the communities through programs like Earning to Give, which donates 1% of all full time employee’s salaries to charities nominated by them. Since 2016 we’ve donated $2.8 million! ✅ Ethical Governance: We’ve included a commitment to stakeholder governance in our constitution–considering all stakeholders in our decisions, not just profit. We also have a supplier code of conduct that we hope will create change across the wider industry. We’ve embraced accountability and transparency in every aspect of our business, ensuring that we’re operating in line with our values.
