Massive congratulations to Emer McDermott for winning Top Performing TC Ireland at the Global Conference in Manchester over the weekend. 🌟 With 35 Irish Travel Counsellors in attendance along with the 9 Cork head office crew, this represented the biggest delegation from Ireland to celebrate Travel Counsellors milestone of 30 years in business. Under the overarching theme of ‘30 Beyond', the three-day event, held at Manchester Central Convention Complex, featured inspiring presentations, a diverse array of celebrity and motivational speakers and valuable networking opportunities with over 220 suppliers in attendance. Exploring Sri Lanka with our Travel Counsellors! 🐘 🌎 Last week, some of our amazing Travel Counsellors had the incredible opportunity to experience the wonders of Sri Lanka, thanks to our wonderful partners at Columbus Tours Sri Lanka. These trips are so much more than just travel – they’re about immersing ourselves in the destination, discovering hidden gems, and deepening our understanding of the local culture. Celebrating 19 years of TC Ireland today!
Today is the 19th anniversary of the start of Travel Counsellors Ireland on 12 September 2005. I’d never have imagined back then that we’d grow to become one of the biggest Travel companies in Ireland. It’s a massive team effort not just with this great team who work alongside me, but our 85 TC’s around the country, our colleagues in the UK, South Africa, NL, Belgium and UAE. When we started, people in the trade here were sceptical 🧐, but I believe we have proved our value and worth to the wider trade. We’ve lots to celebrate and be proud of. Huge thanks to everyone that helped to get us to where we are today, including past and present colleagues from around the globe. The dream team….
