As we continue to look back at our 2024 disproportionate collapse projects here’s one we did for our client and main contractor Galliford Try. This was an exciting development for us – our first ever concrete frame project! Our brilliant site team took a few snaps during the phased prep works at St Ann’s Primary School in Stretford – a net zero carbon build. We supplied and installed 4500kgs of loose reinforcement bar to the floor and roof, and the timber shuttering. The precast concrete frame supplier was O'Reilly Precast and steel bar supplier K B Rebar Limited Most of our projects come through recommendation – just like this one. Some recent progress photos of the pre-cast installation at Lidl Northern Ireland's largest new retail store! The new store will be relocated from its existing position within the Riverside Retail Park in Coleraine, where it began trading in 2005, to a larger site within the complex. The new larger site of 2,475m2, including a 1,752m2 sales floor, will officially become the region’s largest Lidl Northern Ireland store when it opens in spring next year. Enhanced parking for 152 vehicles as well as two electric vehicle charging points will be included in the build, reflecting Lidl Northern Ireland’s commitment to sustainability and an enhanced customer shopping experience. The Coleraine store is the latest investment by Lidl Northern Ireland in the northwest, complementing new store opening in recent years in Strabane, Ballymoney and Limavady.
