The Mobile Medical Diagnostics team has been busy this week with the completion of the roll-out of our unique mobile X-ray service to every county in Ireland. We have worked closely with the HSE's Operational Performance and Integration team and the local HSE regions to deliver this service to community hospitals, nursing homes, clients in intellectual disability services and suitable patients in private homes. We have visited over 8000+ patients; a hospital transfer was avoided in over 90% of these cases. Our Consultant Radiologist reports are back to the referrer within 4 hours which remains a critical component of our service.
