❗ Important Update: UK Travel ETA Requirements Expanding from 8 January 2025 The UK is expanding its Electronic Travel Authorisation (ETA) requirements and here is a summary of what you need to know. Currently, only Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and UAE, are in scope for ETAs for UK travel. From 8 January 2025, additional nationalities will be required to hold a valid ETA for entering the UK, as follows: 📅 From 8 January 2025: All remaining non-European visa-exempt nationalities. 📅 From 2 April 2025: Eligible Europeans (excluding Ireland). Check here for applicable date by country: https://lnkd.in/ggPPMnV8 ETAs are required for short stays (up to 6 months) for holidays or business trips. Cost is £10 per ETA (subject to change). What you need to apply for the ETA: ➡️ The passport you will travel with - not a photocopy or digital passport A valid email address ➡️ A credit card, debit card, Apple Pay or Google Pay You will also need to upload or take photos of: ➡️ The face of the person applying. ➡️ The passport. You do not need to enter your travel details. Note: If you are travelling with children, you will need to apply for their ETAs also. Applying for an ETA The fastest way to apply is using the UK ETA app, named UK ETA on Google Play and App Store. Look for the official government icon. ↘️ This is a significant change to UK travel requirements.
