Film Ireland reposted this
This Thursday, there is an opportunity to catch Don't Forget to Remember as part of the First Fortnight festival at the National Gallery of Ireland. I never knew there was a theatre in the National Gallery so am really excited to screen the film there. Myself and Asbestos will be on hand for the Q&A and Asbestos will be destroying all of the chalkboards from the film over the weekend as part of a performance in the gallery so do drop in at any stage Friday to Sunday to observe that. https://lnkd.in/eT7Dn6Bh

Earlier this month, we were delighted to host our Screen Sessions live event, made possible with the support of Fís Éireann/Screen Ireland and hosted by our wonderful friends at Griffith College Dublin. The day was packed with inspiring conversations. Casting Director Maureen Hughes and actor-director Maureen OConnell kicked things off with a fantastic discussion on performance. This was followed by an insightful chat on art and production design with Annie Atkins and Jill Beecher. After a well-earned coffee break, the event concluded with an engaging session on direction featuring Ciaran Donnelly and Roisin Kearney. Each talk provided a glimpse into the craft, passion, and dedication that goes into the different facets of filmmaking. If you couldn’t make it, don’t worry—these talks will be released on our platform soon. In the meantime, take a look at the wonderful images from our event, taken by Beta Bajgart, and listen back to our previous podcasts here: https://lnkd.in/ea5VDbMB
