  • Integrating climate risk into your business strategy is no longer optional—it’s essential. Here’s how to get started: Conduct a Climate Risk Assessment: Identify vulnerabilities by assessing how climate change could impact your operations, supply chain, and assets. Consider both physical risks and transition risks. Develop Mitigation Strategies: With risks identified, create targeted strategies to address them. This might include diversifying suppliers, or adapting your business model to new regulations and market shifts. Monitor and Adjust: Climate risks evolve. Continuously track emerging threats and adapt your strategies to stay resilient. At Climeaction, we can support you in embedding climate resilience into your business approach. • Tracking Scope 3 emissions? It’s no small task. Here’s why it’s challenging:  It's indirect – Scope 3 emissions come from sources you don’t directly manage, like business travel or waste disposal, making you dependent on third-party data. Sheer Volume – Covering 15 sub-categories, Scope 3’s footprint is vast compared to Scope 1 and 2, requiring you to pull data from numerous suppliers and partners. Data Complexity – Reconciling data from different sources into a consistent inventory, while maintaining auditability, adds another layer of difficulty. Understanding these challenges is the first step toward managing them. At Climeaction, we’re here to help streamline this process, turning complexity into clarity. https://lnkd.in/gAZcw6SH
