🚀 Exciting News in CAR-T Cell Manufacturing 🚀 We’re thrilled to share our newest study published in Molecular Therapy: Methods & Clinical Development. This pioneering work demonstrates the clinical potential of the #Solupore® transfection system to produce potent multi-edited, lentivirus transduced cells paving the way for improved manufacture of CAR-T therapies for IO and auto-immune. Key findings in this study include: · 30-fold greater inhibition of tumor growth in vivo for Solupore manufactured cells compared to electroporated cells. · Enhanced preservation of Stem Cell Memory T Cells post-editing and cryopreservation, which is crucial for long-term clinical efficacy. · Enhanced cellular avidity and cytotoxicity, alongside improved metabolic fitness. · High cell viability and recovery, after single and sequential transfection. · GMP alignment for scalable, clinical-grade manufacturing. The study was led by Dr Jamie Frankish and Dr Lisa O'Flynn, supported by members of the Avectas Scientific Advisory Board including Prof. Mark Lowdell and enabled by the remarkably skilled and committed team at Avectas.
