Cosmetic Tidy Guide Did you receive some lovely cosmetic products for Christmas? Here's is some help in keeping it all organised 👇 Remove everything from your cosmetic area to start fresh. Sort items into categories: makeup, skincare, hair products, tools, etc. Check expiration dates and discard expired or unused items. Clean the Space Wipe down shelves, drawers, and surfaces to create a fresh base. Consider adding drawer liners or dividers for easy maintenance. Streamline Essentials Keep frequently used items within reach, like daily skincare or makeup. Group similar products together: lipsticks in one container, brushes in another. Maximise Storage Use clear organisers, trays, or stackable drawers to save space. Add a tiered stand or lazy Susan for easy access to smaller items. Create a System Label containers or drawers for quick identification. Rotate seasonal products or seldom-used items to the back or a separate space. With all the excitement of new toys, this can actually be the easiest time to encourage kids to let go of what they’ve outgrown. Here’s how to tackle it: 🎁 Get the Kids Involved: Frame it positively—ask them to make space for their exciting new toys. 🎁 Keep, Donate, Discard: Sort toys into three categories. Broken toys can be discarded, while gently used ones can be donated to spread the joy. 🎁 Create Zones: Group similar toys together—like puzzles, figures, and crafts—so they’re easier to find and put away. 🎁 Rotate Toys: If there are too many to keep out, rotate some into storage for future playtime.
