Today, on #CommemorationDay, we honour the selfless sacrifices of the UAE’s fallen heroes who dedicated their lives to this nation.

Over a year has passed since the start of the genocide in Gaza. As the situation rapidly deteriorated and the humanitarian crisis worsened, Doctors Without Borders’ (Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF)) teams stayed on the ground, treating Palestinian children, mothers, and civilians, and providing lifesaving medical assistance. You can now donate directly to the MSF efforts in Gaza when placing your weekly #Kibsons orders online.  The donation link is live on Kibsons.com and on the app, and 100% of all proceeds will go to Palestinian families in Gaza in urgent need of medical humanitarian assistance. Donations will contribute to MSF’s efforts in providing neonatal, obstetric, and pediatric care at three primary healthcare clinics and in Nasser Hospital, which currently has one of the sole remaining functional maternity wards in the south of Gaza. We are excited to announce a big step forward in our journey toward sustainability. #Kibsons is evolving to offer a more eco-friendly way of delivering groceries to thousands of families around the UAE! Starting this month, we are phasing out our popular blue cardboard boxes. instead, our delivery teams will be utilising reusable crates. These crates will transport food securely, and customers will be able to easily unload their orders directly at their doorsteps. This shift is more than just a change in packaging – it’s a move that will save the equivalent of 2,142 trees every month. That’s 25,704 trees over the course of a year! While we acknowledge the popularity of the cardboard box, only 20% were returned to Kibsons for recycling. By focusing on practical solutions like reducing resource consumption and adopting innovative packaging, we continue to lead by example, making a positive impact with every delivery.

For many of us, work takes up much of our time. We spend over eight hours a day in our workplaces, and sometimes more. And yet, so often, we neglect the impact that a supportive, emotionally healthy work environment has on a person’s mental health. While this holds true for everyone, men are often taught to disregard sentiments around emotional well-being.
