  • Nailed it! Some of Apple's earliest employees talking about Steve Jobs in this 1984 documentary perfectly illustrates what visionary genius he was 👏😳 "The greatest people are self-managing - they don’t need to be managed. Once they know what to do, they’ll go figure out how to do it. What they need is a common vision. And that’s what leadership is: having a vision; being able to articulate that so the people around you can understand it; and getting a consensus on a common vision" - Steve Jobs By the way, the first guy is Chris Espinosa, and he's currently the longest-serving employee at Apple. He joined Apple back in 1976 at the age of 14, writing BASIC code while the company was still based in Jobs’ garage. It's fascinating how Apple went from a garage to a global giant, all fueled by a clear vision. Steve was truly one of a kind. • Researchers have taken the concept of cyborg insects to the next level – automated mass production that could turn out cybernetically controlled bugs every 68 seconds, a technology that may prove useful in search-and-rescue operations or factory inspections. Do you think it is ethical to use living creatures in this way? Previous experiments have found that it is possible to merge electronics with live insects to remotely control their behavior without hurting them. Automated Production: Researchers have developed a system that automates the process of attaching electronic components to insects, effectively turning them into remotely controlled "cyborgs." This drastically reduces the time needed to create these bio-robots. Speed: The key advancement is the speed of production. The system can produce a cyborg insect in approximately 68 seconds, a huge leap compared to previous manual methods that took much longer. These cyborg insects have several potential uses: Search and Rescue: They could be sent into collapsed buildings or other dangerous environments to locate survivors. Factory Inspections: They could navigate tight spaces and inspect machinery for damage or wear. Environmental Monitoring: They could be used to collect data in hazardous or difficult-to-reach areas. Key Points: - This technology raises ethical considerations about the use of living creatures in this way. - The research is ongoing, and there are still challenges to overcome, such as powering the devices and ensuring the insects' well-being. - This development highlights the increasing convergence of biology and technology, opening up new possibilities (and concerns) for the future. #Innovation via @techin24hours #Technology #Cyborg

Here's the truth most aren't ready to hear: Those were just tremors before the real earthquake. While everyone's distracted by the noise, the true technological revolution is brewing beneath the surface. The same infrastructure that powered these movements is quietly transforming EVERY industry. And guess what? The biggest opportunities haven't even arrived yet. But here's the catch – when they do, it'll be too late to catch up. The next wave of industry titans aren't sitting around debating technology. They're building it. RIGHT NOW. You have two choices: 1. Start building your tech foundation today and be among the dominant players in 2030 2. Wait and watch your industry get disrupted from the sidelines Every single industry – from marketing to manufacturing – is becoming a tech play. The harsh reality? In 5 years, you'll either be the disruptor or the disrupted. There's no middle ground. The tech revolution isn't coming. It's already here. The real question is: Which side of history will you be on? • How You Present Your Service Matters! This video had me laughing, but it also made me think about customer expectations. In software (and any business), it’s important not to set expectations too high and then deliver something basic. Instead, keep expectations realistic and focus on delivering more than what’s expected. That’s how you truly impress your customers! What do you do to make sure your “carwash” doesn’t disappoint? 😄 Share your thoughts! #CustomerExperience #PresentationMatters #ExpectationVsReality #SoftwareEngineering #business #marketing

  • 🤯 Even 海归 “Chinese Repatriates” = shocked by China! Have you experienced this tech?👇 海归 = “sea turtle” A slang for Chinese students who have returned to the Mainland... Many of which are just as SHOCKED as foreigners with how much China has changed! 🏃 It’s no news that the speed of Chinese development is RAPID. - QR code is old, palm pay is the latest payment methods - Register face scanning at metro stations - AI-powered self-driving cars that can safely navigate city streets - Password-protected taxi entries Any time I need to be away for a period myself – I’m always amazed at how much can change... China’s innovations feel scenes from sci-fi movies, but it's just an average day here! Moreover, 5G connectivity + smart infrastructure ensure every moment can be seamless/optimised. BUT, many of these *conveniences* are not always appreciated by people abroad... - Skepticism over privacy concerns - Cultural shock on rapid tech advancements - Unwilling to give biometric data to the government So, are Chinese citizens just willing to *give up* this personal information? 🤔 One of the main reasons will have to be the infrastructure pride that many people grew up with. - Efficiency + Modernisation - Comfort with Security China had previously always been seen as backwards + underdeveloped. But over the past decades, China worked HARD quietly despite jabs from mainstream media abroad. Have you ever experienced these advanced technologies in China?
