MINISTERIAL VISIT: CLAUDE MEISCH MET OUR APPRENTICES 🚍 On Friday 6 December, we were honoured to welcome Claude Meisch, Minister for Education, Children and Youth, as part of the ‘Bildung am Dialogue’ programme, which aims to encourage exchanges between partners in the education system and civil society. 🌟 Strengthening the links between education and business 🌟 We were delighted to be able to highlight the commitment of our trainers and the inspiring careers of our apprentices. The meeting also highlighted the importance of concrete initiatives to connect the world of education with the needs of business. ⚡But also, integrating the major challenge of the mobility sector ⚡ This ministerial visit was an opportunity to discuss at length the major challenges linked to electrification. Indeed, with the support of the FLEAA, we stressed the importance of working closely with the public authorities to ensure that we have the resources needed to train a workforce skilled in the new trades. We are thinking of electromobility and mechatronics. 🤝 Constructive discussions for promising collaborations 🤝 The insights exchanged during this visit mark a significant step forward in our collaboration with Luxembourg’s training institutions. 🙏 Special Thanks We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Minister Claude Meisch for honouring our team with his visit. 🔌 Electrification in action at Sales-Lentz! This E-Citaro is the first of an order of 45 units of this new articulated electric bus. Recently, our E-Mobility department at Sales-Lentz celebrated the first charging of the brand-new Mercedes-Benz E-Citaro G a 18m "fully electric" bus, which will enhance our fleet serving a public route. The test was a major success! Ground markings, charging power, and the loading process were thoroughly validated, showcasing the exceptional work of our teams.
