We are in Banja Luka, Bosnia and Herzegovina 🇧🇦 participating in the event “Advancing Vocational Education in the Republic of Srpska”. It’s always a pleasure to return to this welcoming city and work together to strengthen vocational education! 🤝 The event brought together key leaders and the partnering institutions who have been part of the projects. Their dedication and cooperation have played an essential role in creating opportunities for vocational education and strengthening international collaboration. 💡 We presented the activities implemented in partnership with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Srpska to build the capacities of VET institutions and introduced the exciting opportunities that Erasmus+ offers for VET schools in the region. After a fruitful day yesterday in Wroclaw, where we shared the results of the "Connected Through Mobility" project and celebrated our achievements, today we delved deeper into the specific needs of vocational education and training (VET). Representatives from 🇦🇱, 🇧🇦, 🇬🇷, 🇽🇰, 🇲🇪, 🇸🇮, 🇸🇰, 🇷🇸, 🇵🇱, 🇭🇺 participated in presentations, discussions, and group activities to map out future priorities and brainstorm new project ideas. Through these collaborative efforts, we explored how to use the experiences gained throughout the project and how to apply them in meaningful ways for future initiatives. We also looked into new opportunities, including Erasmus+ funding and other sources, to ensure the sustainability and growth of our partnerships. This may be our last meeting, but it’s only the beginning of many new opportunities and collaborations. The bonds we’ve built and the work we’ve done will continue to grow and inspire. The second day of our final coordination meeting of the "Connected Through Mobility" project opened with inspiring conversations and a shared commitment to advancing vocational education and training (VET) through international collaboration. The day began with a panel discussion focusing on “The Role of Internationalisation in VET: The Western Balkan Perspective.” Representatives from 🇦🇱, 🇧🇦, 🇽🇰, and 🇲🇪 shared their experiences, offering a comprehensive view of how international partnerships can foster progress and innovation in the region. As the dialogue expanded, a second panel discussion titled “The Role of Internationalisation in VET: Broader Perspectives” brought together voices from 🇭🇺, 🇵🇱, 🇸🇰, and 🇸🇮. Each representative provided valuable perspectives on how collaboration across borders strengthens educational systems and enhances opportunities for students and institutions alike. The discussions were skillfully moderated by Janka Sándor Fazakas, senior expert for VET projects at MeOut Group, who guided the conversation with expertise and a deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities in VET. These engaging sessions reinforced the importance of internationalisation as a key driver for educational transformation, regional cooperation, and sustainable development. Today, we were at the local conference within the project Grow-in VET in Podgorica, Montenegro, where we listened to inspiring testimonials from students involved in mobilities and their accompanying teachers as well. Their stories showcased the transformative power of vocational education and training (VET), highlighting the significant role of international experiences in shaping future-ready professionals. 🌟 We took the opportunity to emphasize AVET - Alliance for Vocational Education and Training and its mission to strengthen vocational education through collaboration, innovation, and cross-border partnerships. 🌍 Alongside this, we presented Erasmus+ and MÖBIUS, showcasing how these programs align with AVET’s efforts by fostering global opportunities and regional innovation in VET. 🚀 This conference was a powerful reminder of the importance of working together across borders to create meaningful partnerships and innovative solutions for vocational education worldwide.
