Team III, nominiert für den Deutschen Zukunftspreis 2024, setzt mit ihrem Projekt "Power für die Energiewende – Große Antriebe elektrifizieren mit revolutionären Energiesparchips" neue Maßstäbe. Dr. Konrad Schraml von Infineon Technologies in München ist verantwortlich für die Entwicklung wegweisender Chip-Technologien, die in Leistungshalbleitermodulen eingesetzt werden und damit eine zentrale Rolle bei der Effizienzsteigerung spielen. Dr. Caspar Leendertz, ebenfalls bei Infineon, bringt seine Expertise in der Konzeptentwicklung und Simulation ein und sorgt für innovative Lösungen bei der Herstellung neuer Generationen von Siliziumkarbid-Leistungshalbleitern. Prof. Dr.-Ing. Thomas Basler, Inhaber des Lehrstuhls für Leistungselektronik an der Technische Universität Chemnitz, ergänzt das Team mit seinem umfassenden Wissen in der Leistungselektronik und trägt maßgeblich zur Forschung und Umsetzung der technischen Konzepte bei.
