🔧 Successful Installation of the New Processing Plant in Baruth The Zollikofer Group is pleased to announce a significant step forward in the development of processing technology for the Pfleiderer Deutschland power plant in Baruth. Our newly installed crusher plant sets new standards in efficiency and quality in wood processing. 🔹 Technical Highlights: - Unmanned sorting of iron (FE metals) for enhanced safety and efficiency - Finer technology for improved recycling quality and optimized material processing - Processing capacity of 25 t/h in 2-shift operation - Low-noise technology that meets environmental and noise protection requirements - The old plant ran for 14 years or 35,000 operating hours – now we’re moving forward with even more powerful systems! 🔹 New Challenges with A4 Wood: A4 wood refers to wood materials that are particularly demanding in terms of quality and structure. This type of wood, due to its size, density, and moisture content, requires more intensive and precise processing. With our new technology, we are perfectly equipped to efficiently process these more complex materials and further enhance the quality of our processing. We are proud of this innovative solution and our close partnership with Pfleiderer Deutschland, ensuring a sustainable and efficient supply of high-quality processed material to their biomass power plant. #Zollikofer #Technology #Innovation #WoodProcessing #PowerPlantSupply #Sustainability

Insights from Zollikofer's Annual Meeting: Challenges, Opportunities, and Team Building 📊 💡 🤝 At our annual meeting with Zollikofer's regional and international teams, the focus was not only on exchanging ideas about current challenges and developments but also on strengthening our team bond. Over the course of two days, all departments had the opportunity to share their recent successes and challenges, and reflect together with colleagues from various areas. Key Topics: Each department shared their experiences and presented a SWOT analysis for the future direction of the company. Particularly interesting were the insights into the changes in the wood market: The sector continues to face significant challenges, with new market entrants and the ongoing weakness of the economy, especially in the construction industry, putting pressure on the industry. Our Conclusion: Despite the uncertain market conditions, the Zollikofer Group is well-prepared for the future with a broad product portfolio and an experienced team. What stands out as especially important is the recognition that stronger communication and collaboration within the team are key to our success. We have already developed concrete measures to enhance this, which we plan to implement over the coming months. External Insights and Exciting Tours: A highlight of the event was the external input we received from Nicolas Christoph, Head of the Wind Power Division at Koehler Renewable Energy. Additionally, we had the opportunity to visit the combined heat and power plant at Koehler Paper's Oberkirch site, as well as gain fascinating insights into the world of the Julius Renner Winery. Such events remind us of the value of personal exchange and the collaborative process of finding solutions within a strong team. 🚀♻️ Circular Economy in Action: Zollikofer recycles 120 tons of furniture at Motel One Munich-German Museum In a pioneering pilot project, we at the Zollikofer Group, together with the Motel One Group and Pfleiderer Deutschland, have set a milestone in the circular economy. As part of the redesign of the Motel One Munich-German Museum, 120 tons of interior materials were recycled instead of being thermally disposed of and returned to the circular economy of the wood-based materials industry. The processed materials are used to create new furniture and installations for Motel One hotels – a sustainable and forward-thinking solution. 🔄 Our Mission: “Circular economy in all its facets is our strength, and we cover the entire chain,” says Managing Director Stefan Zollikofer. We aim to break linear material flows and promote sustainable solutions in industries where the circular economy still has great potential. The successful cooperation between the Motel One Group, Pfleiderer Deutschland, and the Zollikofer Group has shown that responsible action and sustainable innovation go hand in hand. More joint renovations are already planned! #CircularEconomy #Sustainability #Recycling #Future #WoodBasedMaterials #Zollikofer #MotelOne #Pfleiderer #Innovation
