Upton Residences is the largest multifamily commercial project to be constructed in Denver since 2009. Tower One consists of 38 stories, and Tower Two consists of 32 stories. The structures house a total of 461 units. Developer Amacon utilized Uponor AquaPEX® in-slab for this project with the Uponor Logic system because it increased installation efficiencies and improved system performance. By incorporating multiport tees located near fixture groupings, Uponor Logic requires significantly fewer connections compared to alternative installation methods. Amacon also used Uponor ProPEX® Lead-Free (LF) Brass Commercial Ball Valves, which feature high-quality, lead-free brass and a stainless-steel ball and stem for greater durability, longevity, and system performance. The visual ProPEX expansion connections eliminate dry-fit concerns for added confidence that the plumbing system will perform reliably for decades to come. GF Building Flow Solutions has achieved carbon neutrality at our Hutchinson (USA) and Zella-Mehlis (Germany) manufacturing sites, continuing our drive toward a more sustainable future. ⚡ In Hutchinson, we've focused on reducing electricity consumption and switching to green electricity, cutting emissions by 94% since 2019. At Zella-Mehlis, we've been using 100% certified green electricity for over a decade, and recent installations like a heat pump-based recovery system have led to a 95% emission reduction compared to the baseline. 🌳 To fully achieve carbon-neutral status, we are offsetting any remaining emissions through verified tree-based and biochar carbon removal projects, showing our dedication to both innovation and environmental responsibility. 🙌 Uniting for safe drinking water!   💧 This year, for the first time, we organized the GF Walk for Water event in two of our locations to raise awareness for communities around the world struggling with limited access to safe drinking water.    🚶 On September 28, over 510 GF Building Flow Solutions team members, friends, family, and community united for the 2024 GF Walk for Water in Twin Cities. This event highlighted the power of community and our commitment to addressing global water challenges. Participants carried buckets of water, symbolizing the daily struggles many endure, creating a tangible impact with every step they took. 🚶 On 16 September, over 100 employees came together in Helsinki to learn more about the GF Water Foundation, the walk itself and safe water access, and to meet new colleagues.    Thanks to everyone who supported this important cause! 💙 #Water #CleanWater #Sustainability #TeamWork #WaterMission #Georgfischer
