  • 🚢 Exporting to Africa | Morocco 🚢 🚨 Important Update: Moroccan Ministry of Industry & Commerce (MCI) - Certification of Conformity (COC) Procedure 🚨 📅 Extension Alert! The Ministry has granted an additional month for Countries of Origin (COO) to complete certification and related submissions for the Pre-Export Verification of Conformity (PVoC) Morocco. The issuance of NOR, NOL, and COC certificates will now be required starting December 17th, 2024, extending up to January 15, 2025. 📌 Key Points to note: 1️⃣ Transition Period: During this period, importers can either use the new COC management platform or continue working with previously approved control organizations. 2️⃣ Deadline for Platform Use: From January 15, 2025, only COCs issued through the new platform will be accepted by the MCI. 3️⃣ Support for Operators: The MCI, along with regional and provincial delegations, will provide support and offer clarifications. Clarification meetings can be scheduled if needed.
