    GIVING JOY TOGETHER   100 presents. 11 Young Tailors. 1 goal: Make children's wishes come true.     This was the intention when our apprentices had the idea of setting up a collaboration with Glückssterne e.V. – an association from our neighborhood in Hamburg. Since 2011, the organization has coordinated a Christmas charity campaign, ensuring that children in need find a gift under the Christmas tree. It was back in October 2023 when our apprentices decided: We want to help. And coordinated the whole collaboration on their own, staying true to one of our core values #ownership.    "This is definitely one of our projects that is closest to our hearts. It’s local, it’s an act of togetherness, it’s about giving. We feel like we’re truly making a difference and it’s amazing to see the commitment of our crew when it comes to helping others", says Lara Sofie Kakucsi, one of our Young Tailors.    During the past month, all of our colleagues were able to donate a present based on the wish star they drew. Today, we came together and packed 100 gifts while eating Christmas cookies and drinking punch.     Thank you to everyone who contributed to the project: Jonna Brodersen, Felicia-Noée Bernitt, Boran Özkan, Oumaima Evren, Moritz Kaletsch, Lilly Schüller, Lara Sofie Kakucsi, Tom Krüger, Zara Sirin Caldastan, Steffen Stanek, Hanna S.     INTRODUCING OUR COFFEE & CHAT FORMAT: NEW IMPULSES & CREW FEEDBACK Last week we kicked off our new internal communication format, Coffee & Chat, as part of our Culture Journey. This initiative focuses on creating a space for dialogue and exchange, and what better way to start than by exploring one of our core values: MUT | COURAGE. In a cozy and relaxed atmosphere at our HQ in Hamburg, 50 colleagues from across the organization—from CEO to apprentice—came together to discuss the importance of courage in our daily lives. The format, designed to fit seamlessly into anyone’s schedule with just a 30-minute time commitment, promotes meaningful conversations, new perspectives, and shared inspiration. The highlight of the event was a talk by Vanessa Alina Spiegel from our Leadership Team. For 15 minutes, Vanessa shared her personal journey of stepping out of her comfort zone and into the learning zone, all while having fun along the way. She spoke passionately about why courage is so significant—both for her personally and for us as a company. Her honest insights and experiences resonated deeply with everyone in the room: „Courage means something very special to me. Even though it's often not easy, it's so important to leave your comfort zone and enter the learning zone. Personally, this is where I have had the most valuable experiences. By building trust together and encouraging each other, we can overcome obstacles and then grow together.“ This event would not have been possible without the incredible support of Melis Ünver, Jana Singer-Mattiuzzo, and Mia (Eva-Maria) Wasmeier. Thank you for your dedication and teamwork! We’re excited to see this format grow and bring even more colleagues together for these inspiring exchanges.     MARKING A MAJOR RETAIL MILESTONE: FOUR EXPANSIONS LAUNCHED   We are pleased to announce the successful completion of four key retail projects in the DACH region as part of our 2024 roadmap. Two relocations—one in Vienna’s Alserstraße and another in Wolfsberg’s Tenorio Center—as well as two expansions—one in Bayreuth’s Rotmain-Center and another in the Huma Outlet—mark a significant step in strengthening Tom Tailor’s presence and creating modern, customer-centric shopping experiences.   "In a dynamic retail landscape, it is crucial to stay in line with our D2C strategy. By reimagining existing locations and expanding into new ones, we are shaping the future of Tom Tailor," says Paul Pörtner.   These projects reflect our commitment to strengthening our position in the DACH region.     CONGRATS TO OUR NEW CFO   We are pleased to announce that Christopher Hallberg will assume the role of Chief Financial Officer starting December 1, 2024. Since joining us in 2017, Christopher has consistently demonstrated his dedication and expertise, making him a natural fit for this key role. “I am pleased to have Christopher, an experienced internal candidate, as our future CFO and am confident that together with the leadership team, we will ensure Tom Tailor's continued success”, says Gernot Lenz, our CEO.  Christopher Hallberg’s appointment as CFO is part of the latest updates in our leadership team: Reinhard Müller is now responsible for all product areas as Director Brand, Lars Globisch joins the company as Director IT, Kathrin Weller leads Marketing as Head of Marketing, Patrick M. takes on the role of Head of People in HR and Bastian Retterath reinforces the team as Director Buying, Sourcing & Sustainability. With these appointments, we're well-prepared to take on the challenges and opportunities ahead.

    On Tuesday, Hamburg’s International School of Management, Germany organised its first Retail Summit bringing together students and industry experts. We were thrilled to be one of the four brand partners who spoke with over 60 students. In our keynote, we focused on this year’s relaunch of our CLUB—Tom Tailor's loyalty programme, which offers many benefits to customers. From member prices to collecting points with every purchase. During the talk, Maximilian Zippel, our Head of Consumer Engagement, explained why we think customer loyalty is one of the driving forces in our D2C roadmap and revealed what makes him passionate: “We like to share the joy we experience in implementing projects like these. We are very excited about the opportunity to dive deep into these topics and share our perspectives on customer loyalty with students and other players in the retail industry.” After the talk, we opened the stage for questions from the audience, enjoyed an exciting exchange and gave insights into entry-level opportunities at Tom Tailor.
