Multi-Sensor Tracking with COM HUB smartmicro's COM HUB Edge Device features patented multi-sensor AI tracking. By connecting and synchronizing up to 4 radar sensors, COM HUB enables precise time and acquisition synchronization and merges the data of all sensors to one object list. This enables seamless tracking of all traffic participants over the full intersection, giving valuable information on travel paths and increasing the safety for all road users, especially Vulnerable Road Users (VRUs). → Increased system performance: higher detection & classification accuracy → Increased safety for all road users → Covering the intersection area without blind spots → The inner part is fully covered, allowing turning movement counts Learn more about COM HUB: https://lnkd.in/eucV6gWh

Radar installation: Is it difficult? People deploying radar technology for the first time often ask: Is the sensor installation and configuration a complicated and time-consuming process? The answer is simple: With smartmicro sensors, it is quick and simple! Once the installation location is determined, radar configuration can begin. The sensor orientation is essential to ensure the best possible road coverage and use the sensor's full detection capabilities. To help with that our sensors have an integrated acceleration sensor reporting the pitch and roll angles for the correct adjustment. The installation process is straightforward and does not require road closures or damage of the road structure. The technicians simply mount the device on existing infrastructure at any given time. To show you how simple the process is, we've prepared a short video presenting the real installation. Watch it now!

Upcoming: DRVEGRD®166 Imaging Radar No need to imagine the obstacles ahead - smartmicro's most powerful radar yet - will detect them for you. With great pride, smartmicro announces DRVEGRD 166 - an automotive Imaging Radar with a much higher resolution compared to previous generations. Using an advanced 3D Waveguide antenna and exceptional target separation capabilities, the sensor delivers an ultra-dense point cloud of up to 20,480 points per second, processing a higher number of targets. This radar provides true separation in both azimuth and elevation. Thanks to its precise angular separation, objects that are very close to each other can be separated reliably. DRVEGRD 166 is a high-end, cost-effective, and robust solution, unaffected by dirt or adverse weather conditions. Imaging Radar is suited to support various on-road and off-road applications, providing autonomous as well as safety functions.
