As we close out 2024, we’re reflecting on some of the incredible moments and highlights that have framed this year. ✅We were proud to partner with EPRA (European Public Real Estate Association) for their 2024 Conference in our home city of Berlin. ✅We introduced Manager Circle, an innovative series of sessions designed to enhance management and leadership skills in our team.  ✅We acquired nine new properties adding over €150m to our German and UK portfolio. ✅Our half year results from September show a 14.9% increase in rent roll year-on-year, with like-for-like rent roll seeing a 5.5% increase.  ✅We hosted an Investor Day at our recently acquired Vantage Point property in Gloucester, talking to analysts and investors about our strategy moving forward. Today, we’ve completed the acquisition of a €13.3 million development site in Munich. Immediately adjacent to our Munich-Neuaubing business park, the strategic acquisition secures our full ownership of a well-positioned 130,000 sqm estate in the Bavarian capital. Located just 10 miles from Munich city centre and one mile from the A99 motorway, the site offers excellent connectivity. Together with our neighbouring business park, which lies in a largely residential area, it presents numerous value-add and development options. We anticipate initial rents of approximately €740,000 per annum, and envision re-positioning the tenant mix to maximise this income while exploring future development. According to a recent report from CBRE, record transaction volumes in the UK self-storage sector are likely to continue for the fourth consecutive year in 2024. The report emphasises the strength of the UK market and forecasts further growth in investment activity for 2025. Self-storage is a growing part of the Sirius portfolio in both the UK and Germany, and we’re well positioned in this flourishing market.
