SAB WindTeam GmbH is an onshore wind project developer and windfarm operator with activities in Germany and France. SAB WindTeam is based in Itzehoe with additional offices in Kiel, Hamburg, Magdeburg, Wolfenbüttel-Ahlum, Nantes and Lyon. Since its foundation by Dirk Staats in 2008, SAB WindTeam GmbH has been owner-managed and independent. Since then, the company has undergone a continuous development from a stand-alone project developer to an independent energy producer. The in-house demand of the IPP company (IPP = Independent Power Producer) ensures the smooth transition from a significant part of the projects developed in-house. The internal services and processes have been consistently designed to be suitable for the third market. Ein weiteres Jahr geht zu Ende und wir können erneut eine sehr positive Bilanz ziehen! Sowohl im onshore- als auch im offshore-Bereich wurde im vergangenen Jahr im Akkord aus- und umgerüstet. Das Ergebnis kann sich sehen lassen: Bei mehr als 4.600 Windenergielagen (WEA) ist das BNK-System bereits aktiviert und das Licht ist nachts aus, die Anträge zu den verbleibenden 1.400 WEA liegen bei Behörden und Baumusterprüfstelle zur finalen Freigabe vor. Damit sind alle für das Jahr 2024 unter Vertrag stehenden WEA ausgerüstet und haben einen vollständig prüffähigen Antrag. Angesichts der gesetzlich vorgegebenen Frist zur BNK-Umrüstung, die am 31.12.2024 ausläuft, ist letzterer Punkt besonders wichtig. „Die überwiegende Mehrzahl der Betreiber hat früh genug mit der Umrüstung begonnen und ist gar nicht erst in Zeitnot geraten. Doch auch die Projekte, die später angefangen haben, sind alle in trockenen Tüchern. Wichtig ist jetzt nur für die Betreiber zu wissen: Bis zum 31.12.2024 muss bei den jeweiligen Behörden ein vollständig prüffähiger Antrag vorliegen“, erklärt Geschäftsführer Henning von Barsewisch.
