Review of the year 2024 As the year draws to a close, we at roda computer GmbH would like to look back with pride on our successful projects. Nikolaus Run of the Bundeswehr (German Federal Armed Forces) Today, we from roda computer GmbH had the opportunity to participate in the 3rd Nikolaus Run of the Bundeswehr. Our running group started highly motivated for a good cause. The atmosphere was fantastic, and the weather gave us a beautiful day. This year, Laura stood out with an impressive time of 0:32 minutes. Congratulations on this well-deserved victory. This year, the proceeds will be donated to the DUNKELZIFFER e.V. association from Hamburg. Since its founding in 1993, the association has been helping children and adolescents who have experienced sexual violence and their trusted persons. Dunkelziffer stands uncompromisingly on the side of the affected. Last week we had the pleasure of celebrating Christmas at roda computer GmbH. In the heart of the Black Forest, we not only reviewed the past year, but above all celebrated our valuable community that makes roda so special. The highlight of this year was our torchlight hike through the northern Black Forest. We enjoyed the fresh air and marvelled at nature as we hiked together through the picturesque landscape and strengthened our bonds outside of work. After this beautiful hike, we warmed up with a well-deserved mulled wine. This moment of conviviality and relaxation continued with a delicious cheese fondue, which rounded off our day perfectly. These unique moments remind us how important it is to grow together as a team and share experiences. With these fond memories in mind, we look forward to the coming year 2025 with confidence.

Today we celebrate St Martin One cold winter's night, as the young soldier Martin rode his horse through the streets of Amiens, he came across a freezing beggar. The man was sitting helplessly by the wayside, wrapped in rags, with no protection from the cold. Martin, who was only wearing a heavy cloak himself, could not bear to see the beggar's misery. In a spontaneous act of kindness, he drew his sword and cut his cloak in half. He gave one half to the beggar to protect him from the cold. This gesture of charity became the symbol of St Martin. Even today, many communities hold on to the tradition and celebrate this day with lantern parades to carry the light of hope into the world.
