Projekt-Adventskalender: Tag 3 ⛳️ E-Mobilität trifft auf entspanntes Ambiente – unser Lade-Projekt beim Golfclub Bergkramerhof! In Zusammenarbeit mit unserem Partner Qwello haben wir am Golfclub in Wolfratshausen einen neuen Ladebereich errichtet. Die 6 AC-Ladepunkte mit je 22 kW Leistung stehen nicht nur Mitgliedern des Clubs, sondern allen E-Autofahrern zur Verfügung. Warum AC-Laden an einem Golfclub? Freizeitstätten wie Golfclubs sind perfekte Standorte für AC-Ladestationen. Besucher verweilen hier in der Regel mehrere Stunden – genug Zeit, um das E-Auto mit Wechselstrom zu laden. Im Gegensatz zu teuren Hyperchargern bleibt die Realisierung solcher Projekte kosteneffizient, außerdem können mehr Fahrzeuge gleichzeitig laden. Mit Projekten wie diesem schaffen wir gemeinsam mit unseren Partnern ein flexibles und flächendeckendes Ladenetz in Deutschland. 🚗 ⚡ Qwello Expands EV Charging Network in France! 🇫🇷 Paris, November 2024 Qwello France is proud to announce the expansion of its EV charging network with the addition of 85 new charging poles across Sèvremont, Bayonne, Clermont-Ferrand (Vulcania), Le Creusot, Caissargues, Livry-Louvercy, and Noirmoutier, reaching a significant milestone of 100 charging points nationwide! These new locations are added to the first Qwello stations launched in France last year, 2023, along the French Mediterranean coast in Montpellier. This expansion enhances accessibility for electric vehicle users and aligns with France’s commitment to sustainable transportation and carbon neutrality by 2050. - At Vulcania, a renowned amusement park dedicated to volcanoes, Qwello has installed 30 charging points, addressing the park’s previously unmet need for EV charging infrastructure. - In Sèvremont, located in the Vendée region, seven charging points across four sites—including the City Hall parking lot—are now live, thanks to support from city officials and the SYDEV energy syndicate. - In Le Creusot, these installations contribute to modernization efforts, offering essential charging solutions for residents and travelers. - Meanwhile, Noirmoutier now features EV infrastructure that not only preserves its natural beauty but also enhances its appeal to eco-tourists. 💬 Vincent Briola, Managing Director of Qwello France, expressed his enthusiasm: “We are thrilled to grow our EV charging network in France, particularly in these iconic locations. ⚡ 🇪🇸 We are thrilled to announce that Qwello has acquired the Spanish Joint Venture previously operated together with Acciona Energía, a key step in our mission to expand public EV charging infrastructure across Europe. With this acquisition, the newly named Qwello España SL is consolidating its integration into the company’s global structure, strengthening our position as a leader in public AC charging, which accounts for 80% of Europe’s charging infrastructure. This move builds on our recent acquisition of Park&Charge and the successful completion of a €65 million debt financing round. Qwello now operates over 12,500 charging points in nearly 300 municipalities across eight countries. 🌍 A STRATEGIC STEP FORWARD 🚀 Since establishing the Joint Venture, we’ve worked with Acciona Energía to secure and manage tenders across Spain. By focusing on our respective strengths, both companies can now work in parallel to accelerate e-mobility development. Our first 40 charging points in Madrid are already underway, marking a significant milestone. As Carlos Vázquez Ubago, Managing Director of the Joint Venture, shared: "With the acquisition of the Joint Venture, Qwello underscores its commitment and willingness to invest in the Spanish market. 🎉 Qwello wins Europe-wide Tender for Charging Points in Hamburg! We are proud to announce that we have been selected as the winner of a Europe-wide tender by the Hanseatic City of Hamburg for the allocation of EV charging points. 🚗 🔋 Since 2014, Hamburg has been continuously expanding its public charging infrastructure, aiming to involve private companies in this effort. As part of this tender, we secured one of five lots, each comprising 500 charging points, with an “outstanding” rating in two categories and a “good” rating in another. This achievement places us first in the overall evaluation, allowing us to win our preferred lot. With this concession, we will install 500 charging points in Hamburg by mid-2027, followed by an 8-year operational phase. These new locations will complement both the existing sites and additional ones allocated to us through the tender. This milestone builds on our recent acquisition of Park&Charge, which has expanded our footprint to operate more than 12,500 charging points across 300 municipalities in eight European countries. 🌍 Thanks to our expertise in project management, permitting processes, and grid connections, we are confident in delivering the required expansion ahead of schedule. 🌍 A Sustainable Gathering at Fort Pampus! 🌿 Last week, we held our Qwello Executive Workshop on the eco-friendly Pampus Island, bringing together Managing Directors from across Europe.
