Currently in Lisbon with German Vice-Chancellor Robert Habeck as part of the first all-female economic #delegation representing Germany at the Web Summit.   ✨It’s truly inspiring and an honor to join such a strong group of founders, investors, and leaders, all dedicated to advancing innovation and entrepreneurship.   Right from the start, we’ve engaged in meaningful discussions about the current challenges and opportunities in Germany’s startup landscape – from securing funding to cooperation with SMEs and balancing family with career. OSPHIM is proud to be part of the #digitalization and #resource protection initiative launched by the German Federal and State governments. Last week, Oliver Krischer, Minister for the Environment of North Rhine-Westphalia, and Dr. Jan-Niclas Gesenhues, Parliamentary State Secretary at the Federal Ministry for the Environment, introduced the first projects under the “DigiRess II” program. With a total of €20 million in funding, DigiRess II aims to promote circular economy and resource conservation efforts in North Rhine-Westphalia, particularly in the Rheinisches Revier region. The program supports projects that focuse on reducing material use, lowering emissions, and extending the lifecycle of products through circular and digital processes. As part of this initiative, OSPHIM is contributing to a sustainable future through innovative, intelligent and digital plastics manufacturing. Osphim, kurz für Optimized Systems for Plastics & High-Performance Intelligent Manufacturing, hat eine KI-basierte Plattform entwickelt, die sowohl in Effizienz als auch in Nachhaltigkeit neue Maßstäbe setzt. „Unsere Technologie ermöglicht es Unternehmen, ihre Kunststoff-Spritzgussprozesse um mehr als 70 % zu beschleunigen, den Materialverbrauch zu reduzieren und die Produktionskosten signifikant zu senken“, erklärt Mitgründerin und CEO Louisa Desel. Von Beginn an schlägt das Start-up dabei die Brücke von den theoretischen Möglichkeiten zur praktischen Umsetzung: „Unser Anspruch war, dass unsere Technologie in Unternehmen sofort einsetzbar ist und nachhaltige Verbesserungen bringt.
