🎯 𝗛𝗮𝗽𝗽𝘆 𝗡𝗲𝘄 𝗬𝗲𝗮𝗿 – 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁’𝘀 𝗴𝗼𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿? 🎯 💡 As we step into 2025, we want to take a moment to share a few insights on what’s coming this year. We’ve got 𝗯𝗶𝗴 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗻𝘀! 🎤 With big steps, we are getting closer and closer to our second 𝗠𝗨𝗡𝗜𝗖𝗛 𝗜𝗡𝗡𝗢𝗩𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡 𝗘𝗖𝗢𝗦𝗬𝗦𝗧𝗘𝗠 𝗠𝗲𝗲𝘁𝘂𝗽 – an exclusive event for bringing together high-ranking decision-makers within all stakeholder groups, taking place on February 20th! ✨ 𝗔𝗜 𝗡𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡 is not only an expansion of the programmes of 𝗔𝗜+𝗠𝗨𝗡𝗜𝗖𝗛 and 𝗞.𝗜.𝗘.𝗭. to the whole of Germany. It also brings new additions in terms of structure and process: we have 𝗻𝗲𝘄 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 lining up at different timings during the funding programs – stay tuned! 🌱 We have 𝘁𝗵𝗿𝗲𝗲 AI+MUNICH 𝗳𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗯𝗮𝘁𝗰𝗵𝗲𝘀 starting this year, applications for the first batch starting in less than three weeks. AI NATION also offers an 𝗮𝗰𝗰𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗼𝗿 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺 which you can apply for nationwide. 🌍 With different projects like the 𝗔𝗜+𝗜𝗻𝗻𝗼𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 project funded by EIT Deep Tech Talent and our participation in SYSTEMEU Valley, where European innovation valleys are connected, we keep on engaging collaboration within different players and support talents. ⏰ Upcoming events: To mark International Women's Day, there will once again be an event on the topic of funding on March 11th, which we are organizing together with IHK für München und Oberbayern and Women Start-up by UnternehmerTUM at the IHK! We want to see more diversity in the tech startup scene which is why we are offering this event to share exciting insights on the topic of financing and company growth and set new impulses for women. 🎆 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟰 – 𝗮 𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿 𝗼𝗳 𝗶𝗻𝗻𝗼𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗰𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗯𝗼𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻! 🎆 While reflecting on the MUNICH INNOVATION ECOSYSTEM journey of the year 2024, we are filled with lots of gratitude for everything we’ve achieved and experienced this year. This year marked a lot of 𝗼𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀 and 𝗻𝗲𝘄 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁𝘀, so let’s take a look at it! 🎯 In the beginning of the year, we hosted our 𝗠𝗨𝗡𝗜𝗖𝗛 𝗜𝗡𝗡𝗢𝗩𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡 𝗘𝗖𝗢𝗦𝗬𝗦𝗧𝗘𝗠 𝗠𝗲𝗲𝘁𝘂𝗽 for the first time – an exclusive event full of inspiration, collaboration and innovation within the Munich ecosystem. Many highly curated ecosystem players joined us, altogether creating an amazing atmosphere! The Meetup was under the topic of Agenda 2030, an agenda we developed with 8 target fields for Munich’s innovation ecosystem. 🌐 For 𝗔𝗜+𝗠𝗨𝗡𝗜𝗖𝗛 happened a lot: while funding more than 40 startups this year, together with 𝗞.𝗜.𝗘.𝗭, we launched AI NATION at the Bits&Pretzels to create funding programmes for startups nationwide. 🤝 We also hosted several other events like our 𝗔𝗜+𝗠𝗨𝗡𝗜𝗖𝗛 𝗣𝗶𝘁𝗰𝗵 𝗡𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝘀, different 𝗥𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱𝘁𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲𝘀 and one 𝗠𝗨𝗡𝗜𝗖𝗛 𝗜𝗡𝗡𝗢𝗩𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡 𝗘𝗖𝗢𝗦𝗬𝗦𝗧𝗘𝗠 𝗗𝗶𝗮𝗹𝗼𝗴𝘂𝗲 on the topic of Urban SustAInability. These events offer a fitting environment to get inspired and become part of the innovative landscape. For everyone that was ready to dive into prototyping, we can't forget about 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗣𝗢𝗢𝗟, our ideation hackathon! 💼 Besides our own events, we were also present at other events like the 𝗟𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝗡𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗠𝘂𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗵’𝘀 𝗠𝘂𝘀𝗲𝘂𝗺𝘀, were we brought AI startups from the AI ecosystem closer to the general public. 🎊 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟰 – 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗮 𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗔𝗜+𝗠𝗨𝗡𝗜𝗖𝗛! 🎊 ⏰ As this year comes to an end, we’re reflecting on everything we’ve achieved this year with 𝗔𝗜+𝗠𝗨𝗡𝗜𝗖𝗛: the milestones, our events and of course the startups we have supported: In 2024, we’ve started several batches, resulting in more than 𝟰𝟬 𝗔𝗜 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘁𝘂𝗽𝘀 being chosen to receive a funding of up to 25.000€! Let’s take a look at a few highlights: 🌍 Our biggest milestone this year? We launched AI NATION at the Bits & Pretzels! Powered by 𝗔𝗜+𝗠𝗨𝗡𝗜𝗖𝗛 and K.I.E.Z. Künstliche Intelligenz Entrepreneurship Zentrum, we joined forces of two of Germany’s most vibrant startup ecosystems, #Munich and #Berlin to provide 𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘄𝗶𝗱𝗲 𝘀𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁 for #AI startups. AI NATION offers a dynamic support and accelerator program designed for early-stage startups at the forefront of AI to transform visionary AI concepts into thriving business – starting now! ✨ We certainly enjoyed the 𝘁𝗵𝗿𝗲𝗲 𝗣𝗶𝘁𝗰𝗵 𝗡𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝘀 we hosted this year at the Strascheg Center for Entrepreneurship gGmbH where our startups were able to pitch their idea, progress and next steps and gave everyone attending the opportunity to connect with different players of the ecosystem. Over a timespan of several days, the participants dove into work, innovated and challenged each other to finally pitch their groundbreaking ideas to VCs - 𝗱𝗮𝘆𝘀 𝗳𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗱 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗽𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗶𝗻𝗻𝗼𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻! 🔍 Have you read or heard about us? He joined us this month as Strategic Operations and Technology Lead. 💻 As an experienced entrepreneur and innovator, he brings a decade of creative and technical experience in 𝘀𝗼𝗳𝘁𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗱𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗽𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 with him. He will use this, combined with strategic thinking and passion for pioneering developments, to develop and implement strategic initiatives, optimize operational processes and harness the potential of modern technologies. 🔧 With his experience in IT and strategy, he brings a lot of fresh air into the way we work and new ideas to optimize the structures from a 𝘁𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗽𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲. 👏 Join us in welcoming Michael to the 𝗠𝗨𝗡𝗜𝗖𝗛 𝗜𝗡𝗡𝗢𝗩𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡 𝗘𝗖𝗢𝗦𝗬𝗦𝗧𝗘𝗠 team!
