𝐌𝐞𝐥𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐓𝐡𝐚𝐢𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐝 The festivities began at our provisional office, where we gathered to reflect on the accomplishments and milestones of the 2024 financial year. A detailed summary of the company's projects and achievements was shared, reminding everyone of the hard work, dedication and resilience that went into making this year a success. It was a proud moment to see how far we’ve come as a team. The event took an emotional turn as Managing Director Andreas Marquart delivered a heartfelt farewell speech for his mentor, 𝐖𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐢 𝐂𝐡𝐞𝐭𝐬𝐚𝐝𝐚𝐯𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐜𝐡𝐤𝐮𝐥. Khun Wanchai was described by Andreas as the heart of the company for over two decades. Andreas’ speech was both touching and celebratory, reflecting the deep respect and admiration everyone holds for Khun Wanchai. Andreas presented a funny-looking cartoon illustration featuring all staff members. As we bid Mr. Wanchai farewell, we wish him all the best in his well-deserved retirement. His legacy will continue to inspire us and his contributions to C. Melchers Thailand will always be remembered. The celebration then moved to a stunning rooftop restaurant in the heart of Bangkok, where the party truly came alive. Surrounded by the vibrant cityscape, we enjoyed delicious Thai food, refreshing drinks and lively music. The evening was filled with laughter, a lucky draw and plenty of dancing, showcasing once again the strong bond and incredible spirit of the Melchers Thailand team. Eight companies participated actively, marking a return to in-person events post-COVID. 🏆 Our colleagues from STIHL Taiwan participated in the prestigious XTERRA Asia-Pacific Championship! As a brand deeply committed to environmental stewardship and sustainable development, we are honoured to have been invited to contribute to this remarkable event. ⌚ NORQAIN Singapore was hosting an insightful event at their Wisma Boutique in Singapore! In partnership with the Young Professional Network of the Singaporean-German Chamber of Industry and Commerce / AHK Singapur our Managing Director Alexander C. Melchers shared exclusive insights in the synergy between us and Montres NORQAIN SA! 🎹 A few months ago we attended the Official Opening of Pianoland's second retail outlet in Singapore! Pianoland is a retail franchise under the Steinway Gallery Singapore business operated by Melchers. Located at #Westgate Mall in the West of Singapore, this location complements the first location at Millenia Walk - We The People. 💡 Dr. Mike Hofmann, Managing Director of Consumer Business at Melchers China, attended the Greater China Day 2024 in Munich at the IHK für München und Oberbayern. During the event opening panel discussion he shared experiences from day-to-day business opportunities and challenges of our company in China. 🌳 Yunlin International Agricultural Machinery and Materials Exhibition is organized by the government and various associations, with nearly all agricultural machinery brands participating each year. This year, our Melchers Taiwan team introduced a brand-new STIHL arch as the main visual display, showcasing Stihl's complete range of products. 🏫 In November the annual freshman pairing education support event of the Shanghai Sunrise Project was successfully held. In 1985, STIHL launched the STIHL TIMBERSPORTS® Series in the USA in collaboration with the sports channel ESPN. The competition challenges athletes to conquer six disciplines involving chainsaws and axes. To win, participants must demonstrate exceptional proficiency with the tools and complete the events as quickly as possible. This year, the global competition attracted crowds of over 5,000 spectators to the world championship. We believe that fostering a sense of identity is the key to differentiating the STIHL brand from its competitors. To further this goal, Melchers Taiwan organized a trip for 22 STIHL dealers and landscapers to attend the championship in Toulouse, France, this November. It was our first time watching the competition, and everyone was thrilled to experience the excitement firsthand! In addition to attending the event, we also visited local STIHL dealers in Toulouse. The stores were well-organized, with machines neatly displayed and professional repair services available. During our visits, we exchanged experiences with the local dealers, gaining valuable insights into the market. We are grateful to STIHL France for their excellent arrangements. This trip provided us with meaningful perspectives, strengthened our dealers’ confidence in our products and made us all proud of representing STIHL in Taiwan!

Christmas celebrations in China 🎄 The China offices had a Christmas party this week. Every colleague brought a home-made dish and we shared it together. After the party lunch, colleagues exchanged Christmas presents through a lucky draw with a corresponding number on each present. 🎁 Every opening of a present box was a surprising and exciting moment.
