Have you heard of a public health technologist? This week, we were lucky to speak with Tiffany Tate, who coined this term. As the brains behind PrepMod, a groundbreaking software that revolutionized mass vaccination efforts during the COVID-19 pandemic, Tiffany learned how challenging it can be to disseminate a public health technology such that it’s usable and adoptable by clinicians and patients alike. Now, with VAULT Technologies, LLC, Tiffany puts those pandemic lessons to practice as she trains the next generation of public health technologists, professionals working at the nexus of technology and public health. In our interview, we discussed ➡️ the story behind PrepMod ➡️ why she prioritizes training women, people of color, and LGBTQ+ people ➡️ her biggest lessons from bridging public health, health literacy, and entrepreneurship Check out the interview below, and make sure to follow Tiffany Tate here on LinkedIn. 📬 For more stories of innovators pushing MedTech forward, subscribe to our newsletter and stay ahead of the curve: https://lnkd.in/ga6gEkw

Brand had the device, made by Cook Medical, implanted two years earlier. Brand sued Cook Medical in 2014 and, until now, neither Cook nor the FDA has shared any details. And a court order banned anyone involved in the trial from discussing the details—until now.
