The Musiikkitalo project is a milestone for the IP community at large. The team in Helsinki encouraged Lawo and Merging Technologies to collaborate on turning Merging’s I/O interfaces into HOME-native devices for lightning-fast discovery and parameter tweaking right from a Lawo mc² console—or indeed any other HOME-native software or hardware controller. HOME is Lawo’s unified and open platform for easy, secure and flexible integration of IP devices into an intuitive UI and network for workflows where speedy stream routing and centralized parameter tweaking are of the essence.
