⛷️High Quality snow for Freestyle Event ❄️ KTI’s snowPRO systems have established themselves as a reliable #solution for producing high-quality #snow at international freestyle events. Since 2014, our snowPRO technology has enabled #snow production at above-freezing temperatures, setting new benchmarks in the event industry. In Zurich 2014, KTI supported a major freestyle competition with two snowPRO100 units, each housed in a 40-foot container. Together, these units produced up to 90 tons of flake ice per day, delivering #snow over a 50-meter distance to ensure consistent #snow coverage across the entire ramp. This event was a turning point, showcasing snowPRO's ability to perform under challenging conditions and positioning it as a preferred solution for similar #events. Building on this success, KTI partnered with snowbox GmbH in Chur 2022 to support the FIS Freestyle World Cup. Here, our snowPRO70 unit played a crucial role, producing around 70 m³ of #snow per day and ensuring the ramp was perfectly prepared, despite warm winds and rain. Installed in a compact 20-foot container, the snowPRO70 transported #snow across a 50-meter distance to the event site. Athletes and event organizers alike were impressed with the consistent #snow quality, which contributed to a seamless and successful competition. Snow Reliability and Sustainability at Skiliftkarussell Winterberg ❄️🌍 We´re happy to share one of our latest Projects. To ensure snow reliability regardless of the weather and reduce environmental impact, Skiliftkarussell Winterberg in the Sauerland Winter Sports Arena has invested in further snowPRO units from KTI. A key milestone is heat recovery: two systems are equipped with heat recovery systems and can provide heating energy that is used for facilities such as restaurants or ski rentals. ❄️Real snow for Indoors🏠 With over 17 snowPRO systems now operating across Southeast Asia, KTI is setting a new standard for indoor snow production in warm climates. These snow-generating systems are key components of Snow Domes and ski halls in bustling cities like Jakarta, Bangkok, Shanghai, Saigon, and Taipei, where they enable year-round winter experiences without the high energy costs typically associated with cooling. KTI’s snowPRO technology creates real snow even at temperatures up to +35°C, allowing Snow Town attractions to maintain ideal snow conditions without having to chill the entire space. This approach not only simplifies facility requirements but also enhances energy efficiency by eliminating the need for intensive cooling. Each snow dome, ranging from 1,000 to 4,000 m², is strategically located in entertainment and shopping centers, making winter sports accessible to millions of visitors annually. Depending on the size and snow requirements, KTI has installed up to four tropical-optimized snowPRO100 units per facility. This custom solution was specifically developed for the hot climates of Southeast Asia, proving that innovative, climate-tailored technology can open doors to unique, sustainable entertainment year-round.
