Excited to share I have officially completed my dual International Masters of Business Administration from the University of North Carolina Wilmington and University of Valencia. This program has been an incredible journey of growth, learning, and collaboration. Studying in two countries provided me with invaluable insights into international business, diverse perspectives, and a deeper understanding of the global market. I am so grateful for the support of my family, friends, professors, mentors, and of course, my amazing cohort throughout this journey!

Today, in the morning, I heard an interesting statement during a discussion when I grabbed a hot chocolate that got me thinking—and I’d love to hear your thoughts too: “You must had luck, you moved up in your company thanks to some Vitamin A, B, or C…” 🔔 I started to smile and have thought about my past years when sometimes people were saying the same to me. Luck? No. What I had was something else: an unwavering determination to turn my knowlegde and background into a strength. As a child of immigrants, I learned early on that my path would be different unless I consistently pushed myself: ✨My parents came to Germany and had to prove themselves every single day. ✨My mom, despite graduating with a gold medal 🥇, had to re-earn her qualifications to start over. ✨I realized early on that success required hard work and countless extra miles—whether in competitive sports, at school, university, or work. But all these experiences equipped me with skills that define who I am today: 💡 Problem-solving mindset: Taking on responsibilities early teaches you to tackle challenges head-on. 💪 Resilience: Every extra mile made me stronger. 🤝 Empathy: Experiencing a lack of support firsthand showed me how vital it is to uplift others. 🏅 Staying adaptable under pressure: Fencing taught me that a single misstep can cost a match, but the ability to pivot quickly can turn things around. I’ve never seen my background as a disadvantage. I’m proud of my roots, my parents, and everything we’ve achieved together. I am very thanksful to all leaders at UPS who pushed me, challenged me and helped me to find my right way, while still guiding me. To those with similar experiences: be proud of your heritage! It makes you unique and gives you priceless skills. Let never nobody tell you, that you achieved only something due to the help of someone else!
