📚 Turning Pages, Building Bridges: "Die Buchsinnigen" at H&Z We at H&Z Management Consulting are proud to share that "Die Buchsinnigen", an inclusive reading group for the blind, visually impaired, and sighted individuals, has found a regular home at our Munich office!  💡 The initiative began in late 2022 when Rosmarie Gudenus and Katrin Böhme from the Rotary Club Munich-Bavaria and Munich-Lehel connected with Margarete Rathe, Managing Director of the Bayerische Hörbücherei für Blinde, Seh- und Lesebeeinträchtigte e.V.. Together, they developed the idea of creating a reading circle to unite literature enthusiasts with and without visual impairments.   🏢Every 6–8 weeks, members meet to discuss selected books, exchange perspectives, and enjoy homemade culinary treats brought by participants. A special highlight of these gatherings is the presence of a 🦮 guide dog, who has become a cherished part of the group!  🎁 Recently, "Die Buchsinnigen" presented us with a wonderful gift: a beautifully 3-dimensional  print of Munich’s Maxvorstadt, featuring our office and iconic Bar Centrale, where these enriching discussions take place! 🤝 Supporting "Die Buchsinnigen" is part of H&Z Management Consulting’s broader commitment to social responsibility. Through our association Hirn Herz Hand e.V., we’ve been dedicated to helping socially disadvantaged groups since 2003. Our approach goes beyond financial support; we actively engage in meaningful projects that connect our employees with the communities we serve, emphasizing compassion and action. 👏 From the first meeting in October 2023 to today, "Die Buchsinnigen" has grown into a vibrant group, fostering understanding and personal growth through shared stories. 🎁 2200 𝐠𝐢𝐟𝐭𝐬. 3 𝐩𝐚𝐜𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐝𝐚𝐲𝐬. 2 𝐝𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲 𝐝𝐚𝐲𝐬. 1 𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐞𝐱𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞. 🎁 Over the past three weeks, our entire team came together to do something truly meaningful. In a collective effort filled with joy, collaboration, and purpose, we packed 2200 gifts and personally delivered them to 20 social care facilities in the Munich area, all part of the Munich Network for Homeless Aid (Münchner Netzwerk Wohnungslosenhilfe). The recipient organizations included SKF, AWO, Horizont, Internationaler Bund (IB), kmfv, LHM, and Evangelisches Hilfswerk. These institutions play an essential role in supporting those who need it most, and we are honored to contribute in our own way to their vital work. The energy, enthusiasm, and commitment displayed by every single member of our team during the packing and delivery days were truly inspiring. Moments like these remind us of the power of unity and the joy of giving back. A huge thank you to our amazing team for making this initiative a success!
