The Kickstarter campaign for Paws and Leaves – A Last Tale is over. I failed. It feels heavy to say, like I’ve let down everyone who believed in me, believed in the team, believed in the project. For seven years, this has been my everything - a story inspired by loss, hope and transformation. To see it fall short feels like standing in the dark, unsure of where to go next. The truth is, I feel defeated. Game over. Not knowing if I should press continue. But the story of Paws and Leaves is about finding the light, even in the hardest moments. It’s about accepting that endings are not final, but part of something new. Right now, I’m taking time to reflect, to rest and to gather strength for what comes next. I don’t know the exact path forward yet, but I know I’ll keep walking. To everyone who stood by me, who believed in this vision - you’ve given me hope. And for that, I’m endlessly grateful. This isn’t goodbye. It’s just a pause to reflect. Have a great holiday season everyone. Florian

After the initial launch excitement, I’ve come to realize that this Kickstarter campaign for Paws and Leaves may not reach its funding goal.
