Providing space and time to forge meaningful connections, explore synergies but also to discuss entrepreneurial challenges founders in crypto face. This has been the idea behind the Greenfield Capital _Founders’ Offsite on the weekend before ETHcc in Brussels. But the true value originated from the dedicated participation of the founders and the lessons - good, bad, and ugly - they shared. Thanks for joining! We're excited to announce that we have built a strategic position in CoW Protocol ($COW) over the last weeks. Link to full article in comments. Their core product, CoW Swap, is the leading intent-based DEX in DeFi, with an average monthly trading volume of $2.4B. "Decentralized applications were deliberately excluded from MiCA to develop custom rulesets in time and create space for innovation. This measured approach effectively underlined Europe's claim to leadership in web3. We now see this deliberate choice in danger of being undermined by local regulators setting overly strict criteria for decentralization." Our Partner, Christian Zimmermann, appealed on the panel “MiCA: From Conception to Reality and Beyond” to regulators not to find any possible angle to regulate but to accept the uncertainty that comes with this choice and give projects the space they need to grow and innovate. The panel took place at the Institutional Digital Assets Forum (IDAF) during EThcc. Thanks to the hosts: Bpifrance | European Crypto Initiative - especially Marina Markezic - and other panelists: Joachim Schwerin (EU Commission) | Jon Fink Isaksen (Uniswap) | Ivan de Lastours (BPI) | Jón Egilsson (Monerium) and moderator: bertrand huet (FleishmanHillard).
