Our commitment to our employees extends beyond the workplace. We stand by our teams around the globe, especially in challenging times. The world has been in turmoil this year and many people are suffering as a result of wars and conflicts. In December this year, we collected warm clothing, water and sweets for the people of Ukraine in cooperation with "Wings of Help". Laura Moser, Head of Supply Chain Strategy and Effectiveness, organized the campaign on behalf of Gebr. Heinemann: “Warm clothing is urgently needed in Ukraine in view of the approaching winter. We have therefore tried to provide as many garments as possible and are happy that we have succeeded in doing so.” In addition, Gebr. Heinemann participated in the “Liebe im Karton” (Love in a Box) campaign for the first time to put a smile on the faces of children in Ukraine this Christmas. The response from the Heinemann colleagues was fantastic, and 100 well-filled boxes of clothes, toys, sweets and other things that make children's hearts beat faster were sent to the non-profit organization Hanseatic Help for onward transport to Ukraine. Oleg Zhytomyrsky, Director Sales Eastern Europe Central Asia, explains: “We hope to have provided a little support in times of need to the people in Ukraine and truly wish that the new year will bring peace and harmony. We as Gebr. Heinemann will continue to always put people in the center of everything we do, striving to make a positive impact.”

With more than 30 Heinemann employees on hand, we're ensuring an unforgettable shopping experience in the largest retail area ever seen on a cruise ship. Spread across three decks, our boutiques cater to every desire. Deck 6, for instance, showcases the best of Arabian products, offering regional gifts, delicacies, and sweets. Besides specific boutiques offering sunglasses, fragrances, or accessories, the shops provide an extensive selection of items to meet every traveler’s needs and desires throughout their journey. One of the most exciting features is the first webstore on a cruise ship, allowing travelers to browse the selection conveniently even outside of regular opening hours. Florian Seidel, CSO of Gebr. Heinemann, highlights the potential of the collaboration and the region: "We are delighted to be working with Cruise Saudi on this great project – together we are tapping into the region's tourism potential and further expanding our regional presence in this growth region”.

🎉 𝗖𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗯𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝟮𝟱 𝗬𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗖𝗿𝘂𝗶𝘀𝗲 𝗕𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 🚢 We are delighted to mark 25 years as a global retailer in the cruise industry. Our esteemed partners from TUI Cruises, Hapag-Lloyd, Phoenix Reisen, AIDA, Sea Chefs, Columbia, Teamsped, and Juwelier Wempe joined us to celebrate this significant milestone. Alongside Claus Heinemann, our Co-CEOs Max Heinemann and Raoul Spanger, CCO Inken Callsen, CSO Florian Seidel, and colleagues from the cruise division, our guests enjoyed the festivities at the Hafenklub Hamburg. The journey to the venue was fittingly made by boat accompanied by a traditional shanty choir that added a maritime touch to the celebration. 📈 25 Years of Steady Growth Our cruise success story began in 1999 with the founding of Gebr. Heinemann Cruise Liner GmbH & Co. That same year, we opened our first shops on board the MS Europa of Hapag-Lloyd Cruises and the Maxim Gorki of Phoenix Reisen. A few years later, we expanded into the distribution business for cruise ships. In 2009, we followed up with shops on the ships of TUI Cruises. By 2014, we entered the North American cruise market and today, we operate shops on board 20 cruise ships, including the world’s largest passenger ships of Royal Caribbean International. We will continue our journey of growth and innovation, working with our partners to meet the needs of our guests at sea. 🌟 Looking Ahead Co-CEO Max Heinemann casts a glance into the future: “We are committed to continuing to grow and foster our cruise business, always taking on new challenges. It is important to us that we engage with travelers in a familiar and authentic way. This enables us to offer our partners a special proximity and shared innovative strength. Cruises are part of our core business and of our diverse business portfolio, and we are focused on shaping the future together with our partners.” #25Years #CruiseIndustry #Innovation #Growth #Partnerships #GebrHeinemann #CruiseRetail 🚢🌍🎉
