New year, new opportunities! From fall of 2025 on, FRITSCH will be offering baker apprenticeships. After 42 years with FRITSCH, Richard Appler is set to retire, marking the end of an era for our company. His journey began in 1978 with an apprenticeship at the Ansbach School of Mechanical Engineering, followed by a role as a lathe operator at FRITSCH until May 1979. After serving as a mechanic in the Air Force, he returned to FRITSCH in September 1982, continuing his career in assembly. Richard is part of the third generation of his family to work at FRITSCH; his father was also employed here, and his son Andy currently works in procurement. Throughout his career, Richard has developed exceptional skills and extensive knowledge in assembly and tool handling, recently taking on tasks such as bonding and banding. Even this year, Richard demonstrated his dedication by traveling to France for over a week to support a client during a challenging situation, earning praise for his quality work and commitment. Colleagues describe Richard as helpful, friendly, and always cheerful. His humor and patience have made him a beloved team member, known for his wise sayings and light-hearted responses to requests for assistance. As Richard embarks on this new chapter, we express our gratitude for his significant contributions to FRITSCH, both professionally and personally. We wish him all the best in his well-deserved retirement.

FRITSCH sponsors home town sports club SV Markt Einersheim with new jerseys and shirts. KG has been committed to and rooted in the region for many decades. In addition to sporting activities such as soccer, table tennis, volleyball and children's gymnastics, SV Markt Einersheim is represented at social festivals such as the wine festival and church fair and is therefore an important pillar in the town.

Third-semester students from the Hochschule Weihenstephan-Triesdorf recently visited the World of Bakery in Kitzingen, where they enjoyed a guided tour of the facility led by two of our dough technologists. The tour included a live demo of the IMPRESSA pizza, ending in the students receiving freshly made pizzas topped with their choice of vegetables, salami, or ham. The event was not only educational, but also engaging, allowing the students in the Food Sciences degree program to witness industrial baking processes firsthand. We strive to provide students with valuable practical experiences to encourage them in their acadamic journey. Thank you for your visit and good luck in your further studies!
