Overwhelming response to DDCC @ ACHEMA 2024 At this year’s ACHEMA the Digital Data Chain Consortium offered guided trade fair tours for Owner/Operator, Manufacturer and Engineering Partner to the topic of Digital Data Chain. Within 4 different tours per day we visited 3 DDCC member companies per tour, which gave a live demo about their implementation of the three DDC technologies: (1) product identification with IEC 61406 – Identification Link, (2) intelligent product information according VDI 2770 and (3) product information provisioning via Information Exchange Platform (IEP), within in their product portfolio. We would like to thank the audience for the overwhelming interest and participation in the DDC guided tours and the great feedback we received! This underlines impressively the importance of the Digital Twin as a trustworthy information source for the industry.
