We Forwarded Appreciation Worldwide! 🌍 Our colleagues truly embodied the essence of #ForwardAppreciationWorldwide during Appreciation Week. This year, over 40,000 colleagues at DHL Global Forwarding, DHL Freight, and Hillebrand Gori - A company of DHL across the globe participated in various engagement activities to celebrate Appreciation Week. From global events, workshops, fun games, and activities to sharing meals with the team, and posting pictures and videos on our internal SmartConnect platform and social media pages. Together, more than 25,000 thank you messages were sent, spreading gratitude within our organization. Thanks to the incredible engagement and participation of our colleagues, DHL Global Forwarding was able to make a significant donation to Save the Children, helping them bring positive change to children's lives. During our global LinkedIn Live event featuring DGF leaders together with Mindful Revolution, the focus was on how appreciation boosts mental wellbeing in the workplace. More than 36,000 viewers watched our event to gain valuable insights on creating a more supportive and engaged work environment. Overcoming obstacles, DHL Industrial Projects delivered 4 high-capacity transformers from Turkey to Germany! 🚛✨ As part of the last-mile delivery, our team applied a technical solution to mitigate a pipe bridge without sufficient height clearance on the route. Using a "Jacking & Skidding" method, they self-offloaded the transformers, then used powerful jacks to elevate them, insert skid gear and skidded them on special tracks, at a much lower level than the trailer, to clear the obstruction.
