Real-Time Hyperspectral Imaging, for UAVs, Food Quality Control, Biomedical Imaging and Security
Info
Cubert GmbH develops innovative optical sensors for spectral analysis. Our hyperspectral frame camera combines the advantages of a digital camera with the spectral resolution and accuracy of a spectrometer enabling real-time spectral imaging for a wide range of applications. Spectroscopy is widely used for the chemical analysis of matter of various kind. Spectrometers are used for the contactless chemical analysis in virtually any field of interest.Imaging spectrometers provide the opportunity for simple spatially resolved chemical analysis. Applications range from remote sensing applications over quality control in the food industry to plastics separation in the waste industry. The Cubert GmbH provides the first of its kind, high resolution full frame imaging spectrometer. It records 2D-spatial information and all spectral bands at the same time. The complete imaging process takes as little as 1 ms (e.g. for measurements in sunlight). In contrast to the standard point or line scanning spectrometers, this novel technique is capable of the spectral imaging of moving objects or the work from small moving platforms without any image distortion. Additionally it offers the possibility of spectroscopic video capturing and analysis in real time. 🎄🎶 Driving Home for Christmas? Not yet, this week we're still on tour! 😊 🇺🇸 AGU24 in Washington, D.C. (Dec 9-13) 🇫🇮 WHISPERS 2024 in Helsinki (Dec 9-11) Two awesome events within the scientific community! For us, it’s the perfect way to wrap up the year. We’d love to see you at one of these events (or even both, though that might be a bit ambitious)! #CubertOnTheRoad #AGU24 #WHISPERS2024 #HyperspectralImaging #ULTRISXMR #CUVIS #RealTimeSolutions

Looking Back at Vision Stuttgart 2024 Last week at Vision Stuttgart, we had an awesome time showing what our hyperspectral snapshot cameras can do. We demonstrated how our technology delivers real-time monitoring and live analysis in areas like agriculture, forestry, biomedical imaging, and food technology. Particularly we showcased our gimbal solution for the DJI M300/M350 RTK, which makes integrating hyperspectral imaging into drones so much easier. On top of that, we introduced the ULTRIS XMR, which showed how quickly it can detect foreign objects in food processing with the help of our CUVIS software. A big thank you to everyone who visited our stand! We’re looking forward to continuing the conversation and finding new ways to make hyperspectral imaging even more accessible. https://lnkd.in/dtbY4gdk #VisionStuttgart2024 #HyperspectralImaging #RealTimeMonitoring #RemoteSensing #MachineVision #BiomedicalImaging #ULTRIS

Check Out the ULTRIS XMR in Action! We’re super excited to share a sneak peek into what we’ve been working on at Cubert. In this video, you’ll see our upcoming ULTRIS XMR hyperspectral video camera in action, tracking an infrared ink that's invisible to the naked eye. Our ULTRIS XMR captures 61 spectral channels simultaneously at 1 Megapixel each, allowing for real-time imaging and video spectroscopy. With our AI-based classification algorithm, the camera continuously highlights the moving ink-covered cap, showcasing the incredible precision and efficiency of our technology. Why We’re Proud: Efficient Spectral Imaging: 61 spectral channels at once, each in 1 Megapixel resolution. Smart AI Integration: Our Cuvis.ai software takes the guesswork out of surface classification and material detection. Super fast: Whether in the lab or the field, with up to 17 fps this allows for true live monitoring. We’re incredibly proud of our team and the innovative tech we’re bringing to the table. Stay tuned for more cool updates from us! #HyperspectralImaging #AI #Innovation #Technology #ULTRISXMR #ProudTeam #videospectroscopy #snapshot

Back in 2012, when Cubert started, we have had a vision of true videospectroscopic applications, that can perform analyses in real-time, without compromising on quality and resolution. An ambitous goal, as we started with 50x50 pixels, and for that time the Firefleye 185 still was an entire new and innovative approach enabling snapshot spectral imaging. Now, the ULTRIS XM is a gamechanger! 1,000,000 pixels, that means 1,000,000 spectra in 51 bands, spatially distributed (1000x1000 pixels), with a speed of up to 17 Hz. To be clear, this means 17 entire hyperspectral data cubes per second. This is no longer hyperspectral imaging, this is video spectroscopy! But what sets the ULTRIS XM apart from the rest? Scanning devices provide good data quality, but are bound to a consistent movement, not able keeping track with dynamic processes. And yes, there are other and brand-new snapshot systems out there, based on highly innovative but hardware-hungry technologies. However, the resolution that is offered is a step back to where Cubert stood 10 years ago. The ULTRIS XM is a reminder that true technological advancement isn't just about making noise; it's about making a difference! #hyperspectral #videospectroscopy #realtime #machinevision #lightfield #ULTRIS #innovation #gamechanger
