AI operates like an expert, drawing insights from vast experiences. However, without substantial data, AI cannot function effectively. It needs large datasets for training. In medicine, we have extensive, well-documented data, enabling AI to diagnose patient issues accurately. In horticulture, however, we lack comprehensive data with multiple parameters. Lighting, including spectrum and intensity, alongside environmental factors, is crucial. To bridge this gap, Crocus Labs is developing an innovative lighting solution that records environmental parameters. Our system allows you to adjust multi-channel lighting, measure CO2 with Infineon Technologies sensor, capture spectral data with ams OSRAM’s sensor, and monitor various gases with ScioSense sensors (which can be tuned for different gases with the help of ScioSense engineers). Additionally, it measures power and energy using STMicroelectronics sensor, and tracks temperature, humidity, and pressure, thanks to EBV Elektronik’s support. Our system provides easy data access and historical downloads for up to 100 days at 2-minute intervals. This comprehensive data collection is essential for future AI applications in horticulture.
