🎄 Gemeinsam für unsere Trucker: Unsere Weihnachtsaktion 2024 🚛 Weihnachten ist die Zeit, um zu Hause bei der Familie zu sein – doch für viele Berufskraftfahrer sieht die Realität anders aus. Wegen des nationalen Fahrverbots über die Feiertage verbringen sie diese Tage oft allein auf Raststätten in ganz Deutschland. Um ihnen eine kleine Freude zu bereiten und die Wartezeit etwas angenehmer zu machen, haben wir gemeinsam mit unserem Partner DocStop an der Weihnachtsaktion 2024 teilgenommen. Mit der Unterstützung vieler ehrenamtlicher Helferinnen und Helfer konnten bundesweit über 1.700 Geschenktüten verteilt werden – gefüllt mit kleinen Aufmerksamkeiten wie Warnwesten, Kugelschreibern, Lebkuchen und Ladekabeln. Einige von uns waren auch vor Ort: Am Rastplatz Garbsen (A2) und am Rastplatz Schwarmstedt (A7) haben Continental-Kolleginnen und -Kollegen persönlich Tüten an Truckerinnen und Trucker überreicht. Die strahlenden Gesichter und herzlichen Worte waren der beste Dank, den wir uns vorstellen können. 💛 Ihr Engagement und ihr Einsatz sind das Rückgrat unserer Gesellschaft. Sie halten die Welt in Bewegung – auch an Tagen, an denen andere feiern. Dafür möchten wir einfach mal von Herzen „Danke“ sagen. 🙏 Wir hoffen, Sie konnten dennoch ein wenig Weihnachtsfrieden genießen. Continental sets out plan for spinning off its Automotive group sector. At its meeting today, the Supervisory Board of Continental was informed of the next steps for the spin-off. Subject to the approval of the Supervisory Board in March 2025 and resolution by the Annual Shareholders’ Meeting on April 25, 2025, the spin-off is expected to be completed by the end of 2025. Automotive is then set to be listed as a European company (Societas Europaea, SE) on the Frankfurt stock exchange (Germany). It will operate under a new brand and be led by Philipp von Hirschheydt. Wolfgang Reitzle, chairman of Continental’s Supervisory Board: “The Automotive spin-off will unlock new strengths, because focused companies are more agile, especially in times of transformation. The entire Supervisory Board supports this ambitious plan.” Original Equipment Solutions (OESL), the ContiTech business that supplies rubber products to automotive manufacturers, will also be made independent in the near future, as previously announced.
