Last month, we proudly hosted our first-ever Women’s Coding Bootcamp in Rwanda led by Josue Batey, a back-end developer at our Service Centre. This exciting 5-day program was designed to empower women with essential coding skills! We’re thrilled to celebrate the graduation of 20 talented women who took their first steps into the tech world by learning HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. As AmaliTech's first initiative of its kind in Rwanda, this boot camp marked the beginning of our commitment to equipping women with the tools and knowledge to excel in the tech industry. Through hands-on learning and collaboration, these incredible participants gained coding expertise and the confidence to kickstart their tech journeys. We’re proud to share this heartfelt reflection from one of our Senior Trainers, Emmanuel Asaber, who has been part of this transformative journey for four years. His reflections are particularly meaningful as they align with the 5th anniversary of our Training Centre—a milestone that highlights the impact we've made in transforming lives through technology and training. Over the years, we’ve built an environment where people can learn, innovate, and become the very best versions of themselves—both professionally and personally. Our trainers, like Emmanuel, have experienced first-hand what it means to develop not just technical skills, but the confidence, adaptability, and determination that lead to sustainable success. As we look forward to the future, our commitment remains unchanged: We will continue creating pathways for growth, guiding individuals through transformational learning experiences, and inspiring them to achieve greatness! #WorkwithAmaliTech

Last week, we had the opportunity to witness the creativity and innovation of 42 master students from ESCP Business School in Berlin as they delivered their final presentations on AmaliTech! Over the course of this collaboration, these bright students immersed themselves in analysing markets, gaining a deep understanding of target groups, and uncovering the challenges and opportunities companies face, when it comes to finding tech talent and considering IT-sourcing solutions. They explored how the African continent could serve as a game-changer in addressing these challenges and crafted innovative outreach strategies to showcase AmaliTech's role as an innovative solution provider – delivering cost-efficient services without compromising on quality. A big thank you to the ESCP project teams for their dedication and thoughtful contributions. We are truly inspired by your ideas. At AmaliTech, we believe in delivering more than just exceptional digital solutions—we create opportunities that transform lives and communities. Last month, at our Kumasi office, we organised an inspiring Girls Coding Bootcamp, led by Gloria Tampuri, a front-end developer at our Service Centre. Last week, our Chief Operating Officer, Christian Ruckteschler and Director of Operations, Matthew Darkwa, made a significant impact at the Bridging Markets: German-African IT & BPO Summit in Nairobi, Kenya. This event, a precursor to the larger German-African Business Summit (GABS) 2024, brought together leaders from across continents to explore the vibrant future of the IT and BPO sectors in Africa. Christian participated in a pivotal panel discussion titled "Africa as the Digital Market of the Future - What Makes Africa Special for the ITO/BPO Sector?" His insights highlighted the unique opportunities that the African market presents, driven by a growing talent pool and increasingly sophisticated digital infrastructure. The summit highlighted the potential of countries like Ghana, Kenya, and Rwanda as prime destinations for global business services, emphasising their robust software development and tech support sectors. This aligns perfectly with AmaliTech’s mission to shape the future of technology through global collaboration. Our participation reinforces our commitment to this vision and also positions us to play a key role in driving business transformation through strategic outsourcing and digital innovation. For businesses looking to expand, the insights shared at this summit provide a clear indication of Africa's readiness to be a leading player in the global digital economy. Let's seize these opportunities to drive growth and inspire innovation.
